A Simple Walk

Days had passed. It felt like an eon. But he was still an apprentice because he never learned anything. Not even to hunt. Otherwise, he was pretty intelligent. With playing Mossball at least. The problem was, he wouldn't be so bored if he could hang out with Heatherpaw. But she was out training pleasantly with her mentor. Today was probably her day off. So he rose from his sinking bed of leaves and said to Heatherpaw, "How about we go hunting, Heatherpaw? It'll be fun!" His voice was probably the jolliest it'd ever been.
