Graystream padded into the Warriors' den hoping to find Firelight, "Firelight," He called, "Wanna go on a Hunting Patrol?" He asked as he stepped inside the den.

Firelight looked up. "Hmm? Hunting patrol?" Firelight meowed grogily, as he was still a little tired. "Oh, uh sure." Firelight got up from the ground and began to pad out of the warriors den.

The two cats padded until they were out of through the gorse tunnel, afterwards, Graystream decided to ask Firelight, "Where do you want to hunt?" He mewed as he looked around the close areas of the forest.

Graystream nodded in reply and the two ThunderClan cats made their way towards Sunninrocks. When they arrived Graystream instantly smelled the scent of a water vole on their side of the border. He dropped into the hunters crouch, slowly padded his way around the ground and when he was close enough gave the water vole a quick silent kill. He then grabbed his vole and put some dirt over it so he could collect it later.

"Show off.." Firelight muttered playfully to Graystream. After his remark Firelight scented a mouse and dropped into the hunter's crouch. He crept up behind it, then he leaped at it and killed it in one swift blow.

"Fair is fair," Graystream meowed happily with a glint of humor in his voice, he always felt so happy when he was out Hunting or Patroling with his old friend. He then sniffed the air and noticed a thrush around some brambles. Graystream slowly crept his way up on it until he was close enough to pounce. At the last moment the thrush looked at him, but it was to little to late, Graystream jumped on it and took it out with one blow. With a silent prayer to StarClan he put it under a tree and put some dirt over it.

"Sure," Graystream replied as the two Warriors made their way to the ShadowClan Border. When they arrived Graystream scented the strong, foulness of the Thunderpath under his nose. "I'm still not fond of that smell," Graystream mewed to Firelight as he examined the Thunderpath and the monsters riding across it.

"I wouldn't be sure about that..." Firelight meowed as he began to follow Graystream. He sniffed the air for prey, but there was no trace. "I'm not scenting any prey Graystream. We should head back to the camp, this has been a pretty unsuccessful hunt." Firelight finished with a tone of dismay in his voice.
