Sliding into Home [Open for TC - Staff Generated Event]

Specklefur having finished gathering the apprentices launched away to rip the rocks covering her leader. "Spottedstar! Spottedstar! Don't you dare loose a life on me! Don't you dare!" She snapped and screeched, tearing the little rocks away and with ferocity ripped and scrabbled at another boulder, shoving with her shoulder, her paws shaking so bad they threatened to collapse beneath her. Specklefur was loosing it again, she was most definitely loosing it. Pulling her leader out herself, she finally slumped to the ground, holding Spottedstar tightly to her own body. "He-he's gone Spottedstar. Foxfang is dead, what will I tell Beanpaw and Darkpaw?" She questioned, pressing her paws to whatever wounds she may have.

Sunpelt heard Frozenflame over all other noises and voices. He was to be saved! "Frozenflame! Frozenflame, I'm here!" he called, using up all his strength. He knew Frozenflame was going to help him, he wouldn't go to StarClan, he wouldn't... He let a small smile etch his face at the corners of his mouth, and then went limp. All the energy was drained from him, he couldn't take it... And he slipped into unconsciousness, his breathing almost shallow.

But he was alive.

He knew for he was digging up Sunpelt for sure now, and he also knew that he was alive because of the words Sunpelt spoke. "Listen to me, you have to stay alive! I'm gonna get you out of there!" Frozenflame was panting, but he kept digging. His energy was draining from his wounds, but he wouldn't give up. Not until his fellow clanmate was saved. He got the ginger tom enough uncovered to see the front half of his back. There isn't enough time to dig the rest of him out...I don't have enough energy. I need to pull! Frozenflame bent down and firmly clamped his jaws around Sunpelt's scruff, then pulled back and slowly managed to drag the other Thunderclan warrior out. Once Sunpelt was safely on top of the rocks and not under them, Frozenflame let go and collapsed. Get up, Frozenflame! You need to keep moving. You need to keep saving others! The grey and ginger warrior forced himself to his paws.

He looked at Sunpelt and saw that he was breathing but unconscious. Frozenflame dragged him off to the side, out of the way of any cat who would accidentally trample him while rushing to save Thunderclaners. "Thanks," he mumbled to Sunpelt, though sure he wouldn't hear him. "For staying alive." Then Frozenflame stumbled away, doing his best to run toward someone who needed saving.

Sunpelt opened his eyes slightly to see his cousin. "Thank you for rescuing me.." he murmured, but then he let go completely and let his consciousness slip into darkness.

Nightfire ran over, lifting Darkpaw by her scruff, not letting her touch the ground. He couldn't tell if it was like his old injury or not. Going over to a clean stop, he gently set her down, pressing his paw to the bottom of her spine, he asked. "Can you feel it here?"

Spottedstar grumbled, hearing a screeching and possible sobbing in her ears. Had she lost a life in the rocks? She had no idea, she couldn't remember a thing. Looking up, she saw Specklefur pressing her close, saying how Foxfang had died. Oh this poor she-cat.... Reaching up, she nuzzled her neck and purred, slowly switching from her holding her own body, to Spottedstar holding it. "Its going to be okay Specklefur, its all going to be okay in the end." she paused. "I too have lost two mates, but I'm still here. I'm here for my kits, to make sure they succeed in life. To make sure all of my clanmates are happy. You must do the same." she noticed a good plently of cats up and running around, so she decided for once, to try and sit there with Specklefur, comforting her.

Echostrike saw her mother out of the ground, but not her brother yet. Noticing a black body close to her, she scraped it out, seeing it was her brother, he was unconscious and limp. Dragging him over to Nightfire, she lay Oliveheart close by.

Darkpaw yelped when she suddenly left the ground and her brother, picked up by Nightfire. Her left leg hung barely above the ground without feeling, although she was sure it was being scratched by the taller fallen pebbles. After being sat down she stared at it. Willing it to move. Her tail lashed on instinct when the medicine cat placed a paw at the base of her spine. She frowned. "Only a little," the apprentice said slowly, unsure as to what this meant. She stared across camp at her mother, panic and confusion rising when she saw that the old she-cat was nearly sobbing.

Starclan, please tell us why you let this happen.

"Y-You're right Spottedstar... I've got to be strong for them, continue to be strong for them." She spluttered, feeling rather hurt, hasn't she been strong for long enough? Pulling herself from her leader she helped her a bit towards Nightfire before her eyes landed on Darkpaw and her broken looking leg. Specklefur was so torn, so so torn between wanting to look over her kitten or to leave to save the others. A step towards Darkpaw, eyes still helplessly watery before she stood still as stone, gathering herself in.

Petalpaw spotted Specklefur with Spottedstar, and wondered hesitantly if she was allowed to come over. She looked uncertainly at Spottedstar, hoping for some kind of order... Her adrenaline was flowing, and she just wanted to do something.

Robinflight watched all the cats bustling around. She wasn't quite in the condition she thought she was. Her vision was distorted and spinning, and her ears were filled with the sound of blood pumping, but there was much work to do and she wasn't sure if there were other cats to save. She was fine. Nothing was wrong. She kept out of the way of other cats, calling out and shifting rocks, so as to avoid getting in the way in her useless shape. She dismissed Miles with a flick of her tail to his shoulder, and he padded gingerly in the direction of the medicine cat's voice and scent. Robinflight rested against a rock. If only her head would clear, she could get back to work and start clearing rocks from the camp.
