Silverpaw's Assessment

The small Silverpaw held her thick white tail high, proudly she mewed. "How did I do? Anything else Icestorm?" She bounced on her toes with excitement, normally she was laid back but how can a cat not be excited about their assessment?

"You did great. Wonderful technique and all," he smiled at her. "Well, I guess now we work on battle training?"

Silverpaw dipped her head, "Very well!" She was feeling braver than when they began, I am going to pass! Her green eyes looked to the sky, wondering if her lost mother Peonyflower was watching with pride.

Icestorm trotted a little ways away waiting for Silverpaw to follow. Once she caught up he asked "What do you know about battle? Well a more specific question is, what do you know about surprise attacks?"

Silverpaw tilted her head in thought, "Well, in surprise attacks you must be very vigilant and quiet, and be aware of your surroundings. You also have to keep in mind the way the wind blows, because you have to mask your scent." She mewed, I think that's right?

Icestorm kept walking, listening to Silverpaw explain. "Yes, that is quite right. But you missed one thing," the tom stopped, turned around, and leaped at her, knocking her over to the side, but not too hard that is hurt. "Never let your guard down," Icestorm shook out his fur, and sat down.

Silverpaw quickly regained her footing and growled, narrowing her dark green eyes. "That's not very nice of a clanmate!" She mewed.

Icestorm couldn't help but laugh. "Trust me." He finally regained his serious personality. "That isn't the worst thing that you'll have to face." The tom gave a small goofy smile. "In battle with cats or even other animals, you have to be focused. You can't read their minds, so they could attack at any moment." Icestorm thought of other good questions for his apprentice. "Now, if someone does attack you, what is the first thing you should do?" He asked, testing her knowledge.

Silverpaw snorted, "Well of course obvious things like claws, ears, fluffing your fur. But I would assess my attacker as I dodged the blows for any weaknesses." She mewed irritated

OOC~ No rush or anything but she's way over do for her warrior ceremony, could we hurry things up? Please <3

Icestorm nodded in agreement. "Silverpaw, through thick and thin, you've come very far on your apprentice journey, and I am so proud that I was able to share my knowledge with you." the tom gave a spoke calmly, trying to hide his sadness, and gave a soft smile. "And I hope you have another amazing experience as a Warrior." He dipped his head in respect, his eyes started to slightly water.

ooc-ya, sure. I was thinking about speeding it up anyway. And Fal could do her ceremony...he doesnt have to wait till training is done, cause atleast we did it. (unlike ivorypaw and rowancloud, I didnt finish training them and they just happened to get their ceremonies!) XD ;3;
And we don't have to go into all the nitty gritty details in battle training, cause I think you understand most of it already (and Silverpaw basically said everything...Unless you want to go through all that stuff?) :D

Silverpaw stood in shock, seeing his watery eyes she darted forward and nuzzled him sweetly, purring so hard she couldn't speak. She could barely contain her excitement, A warrior! How fantastic! She wanted to thank Icestorm but her large eyes told him all the thanks she could ever hope to say.

"Right, lets bring your prey back to camp, shall we?" he said, giving a sniff. Icestorm stood up, flicked his tail, and they walked off together, enjoying the afternoon breeze.

Silverpaw nodded and silently they carried the gathered prey back to camp, enjoying the silence she kept close to him.
