Leaves and Cedar, a good combination (closed for Icestorm)

Leafsnap had recently got back from the horrors of Twolegs. She had been gone for three moons. The wounds on her back had been healing well. She was hunting now- trying to get a large meal for them. She was racing after a rabbit when she crashed into Cedarfur.

Cedarfur was enjoying the peaceful day on the moor when he heard someone running towards him but didn't move out of the way in time. He got up and shook his fur only to see Leafsnap. "Are you ok?" He looked down to her.

OOC: lol she isn't that smol. But ok haha.

IC: "Oof!" She squealed. "Oh, sorry Cedarfur!" She said apologetically. She blushed a bit. The small she-cat said bluntly, "I need to get that prey. Unless you'd like to help me catch it."

"Don't worry, it's my fault I didn't move out of your way sooner." It had only happened in a few seconds and he could still see the trail the rabbit had left. "Ok, if you want to catch it, we better get going." he gave a smile to the beautiful white cat.

OOC- I didn't mean she was so small, but to him, all cats are "smaller" XD

OOC- it's fine, lol

IC- "Alright! Then ya better catch up if you want to help!" She said as she sprinted after the rabbit. Her speed and agility was quite well due to her size, but she winced a bit from the back pain.

"Hey! No fair! You got a head start!" he yowled, dashing after Leafsnap. With his tall legs he didn't have to take nearly as many strides as her and soon caught up. He gave a "Ha, who's faster now?" smile and dashed after the rabbit, leaving her behind. He soon caught it, killing it swiftly and trotted back to her, dropping the rabbit at her paws.

Leafsnap glared, but in a more friendly way. "That's not fair either." She said, sticking her nose in the air. A small smile cracked upon her face. She blushed a bit and looked back down. Within a split second, she saw a mouse. She snatched it up quick. It was plump. "Even." She said with a smirk.

"Ok, ok. I don't like all this competition stuff. Why don't we bury this an take a stroll?" he dug a whole for the rabbit and dug one for the mouse with one paw.

"Okay. Sure." She put the mouse in. She quickly buried it. "Sounds good." She picked herself up and caught up to him. "Stroll sounds good."

Cedarfur made his way towards the empty moor in silence. He loved to enjoy the summer air. After they were a little ways from the camp, he climbed a small hill, making sure Leafsnap was behind him and laid down on his back looking at the sky.

As she followed, she watched him lay down. She sat down next to him. She looked up at the sky. She awkwardly laid down near him. "Nice out, isn't it?"

"Yes." As she laid down next to him, he could tell she felt awkward. "No need to feel awkward. What could possibly be awkward about laying down and looking at the clouds?" he chuckled softly.

"Oh, um. Yeah." She let her self relax. She looked up. She saw the clouds take shape. One looked like a leaf. Another, a tree. "It's cool how you can see the shapes."

"Ya. That one, looks like tree and oo! theres one that looks like a leaf!" he pointed to them with his paw. "I love clan life, but every once in a while it's nice to take a break and chill."

"I agree. I know I haven't been with the clan for a few moons... It's kinda hard to cope with the fact I nearly died. It's good to be calm and chill." She let out a sigh, the marks on her back forever there. She honestly loved being with her new friend. In fact, her crush kinda grew as they laid down together and looked at the clouds.
