With you [closed]

Sliverpelt hung in the sky above. The cats of starclan looking nothing more like then chips of ice set in a black river. Dawnstrike had found herself looking up at it, instead of focusing on the other cats that came around here. It was like a game, Dawnstrike always had been so interested in starclan and what better place to go when your observing starclan -- the four trees where all five clans gather under the full moon in peace. She was sure Falconstar wouldn't mind her doing this, what bad can come out of sending prayers to Starclan? And to make up for it the four trees always crawled with prey probably because the clans met up here every few moons. It was also better then chasing rabbits all the time since she was horrible at running, she didn't match being a windclanner at all she wondered if her heart belonged somewhere else.

The pretty ginger shecat tucked her paws under herself as she curled up in the middle of the clearing. Her tail giving a twitch as she watched the golden warriors twinkle in the dark night, it brought her the curiosity of what starclan was like and what was the dark forest like. It seemed like no one else was around at the time so she was alone bu Dawnstrike didnt mind that, she had her ancestors there with her. The sound of a twig had snapped and Dawnstrike was completely startled by this, earlier the night was completely silent you could hear the insects chirping in harmony. The wind clans warrior quickly perked up her icy blue pupils narrowing. "I know your there,"

Larktalon was stalking underneath the thick band of Silverpelt. He didn't know where he was headed. He just wanted some time to himself for once. SkyClan was awfully busy lately. Patrols left and right. He barely had any time to think. He nearly blended in with his surroundings, so, naturally, it was easy to slip out of camp so late.

He found himself shrouded by more darkness as he entered Fourtrees. Large oaks loomed above him, and it was hard not for him not to stare up at them in wonder. How could trees grow to be so tall? How old were they? He was shaken from his thoughts as a scent hit his nostrils. Another cat was nearby- and a WindClan cat at that. Instinctively, Larktalon ducked into cover, holding his breath. It was to no avail. The she-cat spoke out, making him jump underneath his fur. He reluctantly stalked out from the bushes, his green eyes glowing.

"Sharp ears," he remarked, his tail slicing through the underbrush as he slid out of it. "What's a WindClan cat like you doing in Fourtrees at this time of night?" come here often? ;D

Dawnstrike blinked as he emerged from the bushes, icy blue pupils narrowing. 'He wouldnt attack me here out of all places would he?' There was doubt in her mind, at first glance the tom looked tough. Probably a strong and respected young warrior of his clan while Dawnstrike was just some new one that had almot nobodys attention. Her ear twitched as he spoke being caught of guard a little, "M-Me?!" Dawnstrike had sputtered out her whiskers twitching in slight alarm. She was also slightly flustered by his compliment, her clan didnt say too much good things about her skills the best thing she had going for her was her hunting and her looks. "Oh.. Thank you." Dawnstrike had mewed quietly before dipping her head out of respect too the older warrior. "My name is D-Dawnstrike."

Although for his earlier question she wasnt quite sure how to answer it. The tom would probably think it was weird of her too come out all this way just too see the stars from a greater view, and she wasnt sure of a very good lie either. Shifting uncomfortably she turned her gaze onto the ground, "Nothing reallly.. Just snuck away from camp" It wasnt a complete lie, it was like the twisted truth. Nervous blue eyes had met his pretty green eyes and she gulped too herself quietly, "What about you?"

Larktalon was sitting in silence as the white she-cat began to act rather flustered. He gave an involuntary purr of amusement at this. Was it because he was an older, larger cat or simply because he was a stranger? He found himself sitting down, listening to her stumble with her words. He'd never heard the name Dawnstrike or even spotted her at a gathering. She was obviously a newly appointed warrior. "Larktalon," he responded instinctively.

The tom nodded at her words, but gave a confused look. "Of course you snuck out. I didn't think WindClan territory stretched into Fourtrees." Usually Clan cats would leave camp to have short hunting trips. They didn't ever stray out into Fourtrees. "But I guess we both have one thing in common." Larktalon gave a twitch of his whiskers, turning his gaze skyward. "You don't need to be so tense," he continued, giving a chuff. "I don't see the reason for attacking an innocent WindClan cat." He glanced back down, eyeing her thoughtfully.

Dawnstrike blinked at the toms words, he looked more intimidating then other cats but he seemed nice enough. The pretty she-cats whiskers twitched lightly. "Nice, too meet you out here.." The ginger she-cat mewed a bit curious too see what someone like him was doing out here out of all places. "Right sorry.. I'm not good at small talk." Dawnstrike had mewed with a sigh her shoulders becoming loose after tensing up. "But what about you what are you doing out here?"
