A walk under the stars

Summitpaw purred. "It's corny but true. Especially in the moonlight."

Fawnpaw purred and stretched as she stood up. "Shall we hunt?" She asked tilting her fluffy head.

Summitpaw got up and stretched as well. "Yea lets go hunt." he purred and followed Fawnpaw.

Fawnpaw set off on the trail of a squirrel, as the scent grew stronger she got into a hunting crouch. Keeping her ears pinned she sprang onto her prey. An older but decent sized squirrel. After giving it a quick nip she turned and dropped it in front of Summitpaw curling her tail in pleasure.
"Think of how excited all the kits will be when they wake up and the pile is full!"

"Yes they'll be quite excited." He purred.

She gave him a nuzzle and sighed dreamily. Thinking of their future.
