Just Another Patrol (Open for TC mentors and apprentices)

A flash of black flitted between the leaves, before a she-cat emerged. Hollyberry's green eyes were shining, the sunlight reflecting off of them. She sat for a while, before standing up to wait for her patrol.

Just as the warrior stood up, Batpaw slid through the underbrush. "Good morning, Hollyberry." His reply was a nod and a smile. Tilting his head, he blinked. "What are we going to do for a patrol today?" he asked his mother. She thought for a moment before replying. "Hunting." Batpaw nodded.

Sweetpaw was taking a walk when she heard the word 'hunting'. She moved toward the voice and scent and smiled when she saw her kin. "May I join the patrol, Hollyberry?" she asked. Hollyberry nodded. More pawsteps sounded, and they waited for the others.

Lavenderwish also wished to go hunting, as she hadn't in a while. She padded over to the group and asked,
"May I join in on this hunting patrol?"

The warrior nodded. "Anyone is welcome. The more cats, the more chance of catching more prey."

Batpaw dipped his head to Lavenderwish and turned to talk to his niece.

Sweetpaw waved her tail at the warrior and smiled, then waited for any others.

Turtlepaw limped out of the apprentice's den. "Does anyone know where-" She saw the group of warriors and apprentices. "Oh, are you going on a patrol? May I come? I haven't seen Frozenflame in a while, but I'm sure he wouldn't mind."

Silkpaw walked over to the patrol. "May I join as well? I could use a patrol!"

Cloverpaw padded up after Silkpaw. "May I join as well I need a patrol also."

Thornfang followed Cloverpaw through the territory so he could join on the patrol. He knew it would be good experience for Cloverpaw to go on a patrol and plus it was a requirement before she would receive her warrior name. "Hello Hollygreen." He greeted to his clanmate

Fawnpaw nudged Lavenderwish, "May I go?" she pleaded her leaf-green eyes begged as she tilted her head sweetly/

"Of course!" Lavenderwish chuckled, and swept her tail around Fawnpaw to bring her close.

Treepaw walked over. "This is a lot of cats." He said "but, can I go as well?"

"Oh geez how many apprentices are going to go on one patrol?" Thornfang said under his breath. He was glad some of the mentors were coming or he and Hollygreen would have a lot of apprentices to look after.

Fawnpaw buried her muzzle into her mentor's fur and purred pleased.

OOC: Alright, we're moving on!

Hollyberry, beginning to get a bit overwhelmed, nodded at Treepaw. "Of course!" Looking around, the she-cat was satisfied with the number of cats that had gathered to join her patrol. She reached out a paw and began to pad forward before turning around. "Alright, is it okay if we split into two groups?" she asked, noting that there were at lease eleven cats.

Batpaw stood up and shyly padded to Fawnpaw. Finding a sudden interest in the ground, he resisted the temptation to go back to his mother's patrol instead of the beautiful young apprentice's. He let a smile settle onto his face.

Sweetpaw knew what love looked like, and the look on her uncle's face shone with it. She snickered and covered it with her tail.

Fawnpaw looked over to Batpaw and purred, "What are you smiling about?" She tilted her head and curled her tail.

Lavenderwish stood and went over to stand by Fawnpaw.
"Splitting up in groups would be good."
