Palepaw watched the battle grow larger and larger. He felt anger boil underneath his fur. "Stop it! Stop it!" Without warning, he was knocked over by a white she-cat. "How dare you attack a medicine cat!" Scrabbling to his paws, he defensively lashed out at her, hitting her sharply with a sheathed paw.

charging in. "Scram, scat," she hissed, swiping at the kit enough to hurt a little.

Palepaw watched Rabbitkit come rushing in. He panicked. "Rabbitkit! What are you doing out here? It's dangerous!" He stopped as the kitten charged toward an unfamiliar cat, who seemed to easily take down another apprentice. Rabbitkit was easily tossed aside with one foul sweep of a paw. "That's just a kit, you idiot!" He avenged the kitten by whipping an unsheathed paw out at the she-cat, hissing angrily.
