OOC: Set before the ceremony for HawkxFrozen's litter

It was a bright and sunny morning, where dapple sunlight fell through the leaves onto the clearing of the camp. The perfect sort of day for kits to come out and play, which was why Hawkstrike, though she was feeling a little worse for wear, decided to bring out her many kits. She padded out off the nursery, breathing in the fresh air and admiring the always stunning view of the forest.

"Kits, come out. It's a lovely day. Feel free to explore camp, but remember not to leave. Understood?" She spoke sternly, making sure they got the last part in particular. She had no interest in losing her kits to some owl or fox by accident.

"Yes, mother!" Firekit and Shrikekit chirped in unison, their green eyes wide with excitement at the prospect of unrestrained exploration of the camp. They were definitely going to wreck havoc.

Noticing that her brother wasn't immediately running around exploring, Shrikekit bounded over to ask why. Surely after being confined in the nursery due to bad weather, he was itching to see what laid beyond. There were warriors lounging, apprentices running errands, and the medicine cats bustling about in their dens. So much to see, and her brother chose to sit around?

"What are you doing, Ghostkit? Aren't you gonna explore?"

Firekit, on the other hand, went over to check out High Rock. It was where the leader and deputy stood to call the clan to a meeting, and it looked very cool and large. He imagined himself on there one day, Firestar! They'd call him, but that was merely a kit's fantasy. He doubted he'd ever be leader, but he could hope.

Flashkit bounced out of the nursery and sat next to her brother Ghostkit. "Hi Ghostkit wanna play later?" She knew he was a quiet Tom just like their father Frozenflame but it was their first time out playing and if her brother didn't want to play she didn't want to play. She was quite fond of her brother and loved being around him.

"Playing is for dweebs," Stormkit joked as she seemed to appear out of nowhere. Making everyone's day duller was this she-cat's specialty. She sat down, curling her tail over her feet like Ghostkit. She licked her paw and cleaned her fur, flashing her bright green eyes around at her siblings. She noticed that Ghostkit wasn't much of a talker and he would rather sit and observe then anything. Ghostkit was Stormkit's favorite brother...she liked the other one too, of course, but she liked Ghostkit better. "Unless I play," she added. Then, she pounced onto and tackled Shrikekit, like she usually did, and pinned her down, laughing.

"Do you even want to talk or do anything?" The small kit asked her bigger brother. Flashkit looked small than every other cat she was the 'runt'. She tried to fit in with her siblings but it was hard they were so much bigger than her and everything they played something like mossball or play fight in the nursery she always losses and is left in the dust.

Sweetkit chose to ignore her sister, and turned to Flashkit, Ghostkit, Firekit, and Shrikekit. "Does anybody want to play a game?" she purred, tilting her head.

"I do!" Flashkit meowed even though she knew she would lose but she didn't care.

Shrikekit lashed out against her sister, thwacking her across the muzzle with her sheathed paw. The calico didn't appreciate being pinned down, and had no intention of letting Stormkit get away with again.

"Get off, Mouse-brain!"


Firekit looked over at his siblings and shrugged. He had no particular want to play, but if they all decided to play a game, he would.

"Ok that's perfect!" Flashily piped up.

Stormkit swiped her paw across Shrikekit's face as revenge for hitting her. "Your not the boss of me," she joked before jumping off. She gave Shrikekit a lick on the cheek like she usually did after she tackled her. "I'm up for a game of hide and seek," she announced, glancing at everyone.

"Who wants to count?" Flashkit meowed hoping her siblings didn't take advantage of her small size and her younger age by 5 minutes or so.

"Fine, but I'm not it." Shrikekit proclaimed for all her siblings to hear. She was still miffed about being tackled, but let it go. They were siblings after all.

"Sounds fun." Firekit agreed.

~Ghostkit smiled and shrugged.~ "If you want I'll be it."
