Whitepaw's Warrior Ceremony

Flameclaw jumped on highrock, and let out a yowl to summon her clan.

Whitepaw licked the last part of her messy fur before standing and exiting the apprentice den. It was the last time she would leave that den as an apprentice, so she took a moment to reminisce about her training and adventures as Whitepaw. The she-cat, standing slightly taller, made her way to the Highrock, the path too familiar to the blind cat. Taking her seat a safe distance from the rock, the soon-to-be warrior sniffed around before finding Flameclaw's scent and resting her blurred gaze on the deputy.

"Whitepaw please step forward." Flameclaw said looking at the clean apprentice that sat before her.

Taking a nervous step forward, Whitepaw gulped. She had trained harder and longer than her fellow apprentices to get where she was, and now here she was, about to earn her warrior name. Trusting the deputy, she paused, waiting for her moment to speak.

"I, Flameclaw, deputy of ThunderClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down upon this apprentice. She has trained hard to learn the ways of your noble code, and I commend her to you as a warrior in her turn. Whitepaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?" Flameclaw asked the apprentice.

Whitepaw froze. Could she say it? Those two little words? She had been semi-confident until now. Though she had fought as hard as she could during the battle with RiverClan, she could not defeat Specklepaw and defend her Clanmates. But the trust and belief of her mentor, Palegaze, crossed her weary mind. He believe her. Putting her trust in the tom's words, Whitepaw stepped forward once more. "I do." she meowed loud and clear. She could not see, but she prayed the warrior was here to watch.

"Then I commend you as warrior in your turn, from this moment on you will b known as Whitecloud. Thunderclan honors your loyalty and courage." Flameclaw said.
