Beata Academy is an RP about a school that caters to children with supernatural powers. It's WCC's most popular and longest-running splinter RP, and starting this spring, there are many new exciting things coming our way. This site is by far my favorite RP experience ever, and we've been slowly improving it over time, so I wanted to bring it back to everyone's attention!

Recent changes:
No character limit. You can have as many characters as you think you can handle.
An arcade and park added to Rosebury. Along with that, there's a few more new boards in the school itself (plus a new faculty member!) — including a Battle Arena.
Along with student characters, you can also make Guardians, town residents, and even members of the main antagonist's terror cell. Hooray for supernatural terrorism!
Other changes I'm probably forgetting. There's been a lot, so snoop around to see if anything catches your eye. If you've never been on Beata before, then everything should be new to you, so don't worry. :P

Upcoming things:
SPORTS!! Beata, starting right now, is going to be having organized sports for the first time. Official games, tournaments, and other related threads for various sports will be held throughout the year. This spring marks the beginning of baseball season, and we're going to be having a tennis tournament soon too.
Special events! Things get stale on an RP when nothing new's happening, so we hope to remedy this by having new site events all the time. These include massive capture-the-flag games, special expeditions to the Island, mini-plots, holiday-themed celebrations, and more! Right now we're in the middle of a site event called The Simulation. It's not too late to join, so throw yourself in if you enjoy mental breakdowns as much as we do!
Actual classes! This isn't really a "new" thing, but we've been kinda slacking on this, lol. Anybody can make a class thread, but only staff members can RP teachers, so you see how it is. We'll hopefully be making more as activity picks up.
