Brook follows the Cliff

OOC: Death thread for Brookkit, sorry Pansycakes :(

Brookkit ran along the river, dipping her paws occasionally in to cool herself off. It was a hot day, and she'd been quite luckily to sneak out of camp while the warriors were off to do whatever warriors did. And with four kits to look after, her mother hadn't noticed her sneaking off into Riverclan territory to explore.

"The world is sooo big!" She meowed loudly to herself in glee as she pounced about. It was a wonderful world, and she was happy to be a part of it. She kept following the river, unaware she was heading towards the rapids that led to the gorge.

Shimmerlight raced after her kit. She had noticed someone wa missing..."Brookkit, no," she screamed. The queen was afraid she wa too late.

OOC: Ya'll want her to die?

"Woah there, little kit!" Icetail said, running over and picking her up by the scruff with much effort. The kit would be struggling if it weren't for the lucky grasp she held on her. "Don'th go rujjing athter cliffss!" She told her through a muffled mouth. "Ya gotha be carfel!"

OOC: Yes. PS poor Icetail, she keeps on having to watch cats die.

"Let me go! I'm fine!" Brookkit wriggled out of the she-cat's grasp, leaping away from her. She didn't know why everyone was being so fussy, she just wanted to see the river. But the earth near the river was slippery, and with the summer rains, the earth came loose from beneath her. She slipped off the edge yowling for help.

"Icetail! Mother!" She called out in vain, but it was too late and the rivers had already claimed her before long. She was lost to the currents, never to be found again.

Icetail watched in horror as she fell. Her eyes widened, and suddenly she saw Coalfur drowning. "No..." She whispered and fled off into the trees leading towards her secret spot.
