Fishing for Love- For me and Empress Cat

SootFur breathed in heavily and twisted his head around. Then looked in the water and waited. Watching a trout swim by he swiped and the fish leaped in the air. As it landed he grabbed it and smiled. "Fishy!" He laughed at himself before going back to the river.

Fawnleap ran over to greet Sootfur. "Hey Sootfur!" She mewed and saw him fishing. "Can I join you?" She asked.

SootFur turned to see FawnLeap. The fish in his jaws smacked his face as he said. "Yeh!" He put it down and waited by the river for her.

Fawnleap ran over to fish with him. She immediatly (bad spelling) looked into the river for fish. "Hmm..." She said, looking into the deep river. As she bent down to grab one, she fell in, and came out drenched. She didn't mind though, this happened at least five times a day and it was kinda funny. So she laughed and came out with two fish in her jaws. She dropped them down and licked her lips. "Mmm.... This is gonna taste so good!" She mewed, and watched Sootfur. He's kinda cute... She thought.

SootFur smiled at her. "Cool. Wait!......... Fish!" He jumped in the water head first for a huge trout. As a giant wave of water flew up in the air he jumped out with the trout. "Fiesssh!" He smiled and shook himself.

Fawnleap burst out laughing. "Hey Sootfur? Can I uh... Tell you something...?" She asked.

SootFur shook himself dry puffing up all his fur so he looked bigger then he was. Looking at FawnLeap he said. "Yeah?" He quickly smoothed his fur out so he was tiny once more.

"Well... It's just that...." She took a deep breath. "If you don't feel the same way you can say so, but I like you..." She mewed bravely.

SootFur looked at her stunned a bit. "You. Like me?" He didn't know how to react for a bit but finally said. "I like you too FawnLeap!" He smiled.

Fawnleap smiled. Great! "Really? That's, uh Awesome!" She said, not sure what to say.

SootFur smiled. "Yes!" He looked in the water and said. "Should we bring the fish back now? I think we caught enough." The pile had grown and it seemed like it would take two trips.

"Yeah, sure! Lets go." She mewed and picked up a few fish. She got ready to walk back to camp but she waited for Sootfur.

SootFur smiled and grabbed three fish making his head drop. "Ets hoo." He dragged the fish through the grass towards camp.

Fawnleap smiled and rolled her eyes. "Ets hoo? Whats that mean? 'It's heavy'?" Going into step next to him, she laughed a bit.

SootFur laughed and dropped the fish. "I said lets go." He smiled and picked up the fish again. The clan would be pretty excited for this fresh kill.
