Although there are tons of animes out there, I can't decide which ones I should watch. I haven't seen very many, either, so if you guys could suggest/briefly describe some to me, that would be cool. c;

I don't watch to many anime but those are the ones I liked.

I don't really favour any specific genres when it comes to anime.. Not sure why. Keep the lists coming~

Fish, if you don't watch Totoro, there's something wrong with you. Also Princess Mononoke. And Ponyo.

Basically just go watch Studio Ghibli stuff.

Studio Ghibli's movies are all pretty much amazing, but I have to disagree with Sleeps. H.etalia is hilarious, and I remember a lot of history because of it!
Some Funimation stuff is good, too, like Dragonball/Z/GT.
Trigun was really cool.
Samurai Champloo was awesome!!
Gintama is long, but it's probably the one of the funniest.
Bleach was okay until the Bounts and onward. Read the manga instead. The same for Naruto.
Claymore was cool.
The World God Only Knows was really funny!

So I just watched Evangelion and... holy crap.

My brain hurts but I think I might love it. I definitely recommend. Watch the series first and then the movie End of Evangelion. Haven't seen the rebuilds so I can't say anything about them.

I'm off to watch Cowboy Bebop now, I guess.
