Small Strides Death topic

Fogpaw had set off towards the sunning rocks to catch some fish just have a but of fun. Her spirt had been down lately and she wanted to raise it with some alone time she gravely needed it. Excitement coarsed through her as she set off with strong strides towards the rocks. She slowed as it came to the river and bristled, so many cats had been hurt here! It made her eyes water to think about and she reminded herself of the fun to have. A light wind rustled her fur and she felt determined to do this and do more, cheer others! Willingly she started the rocks taking slow steps and spedding herself along. She felt herself wobble and she gasped , twisting around her head hit a rock, she became quite dizy. Fogpaws heart sped as her body hit the water, she churned her paws and dread filled her. "Help! Some cat!" Her yowl was drained slowly and she shook her head going under. "NO!" She didn't want to leave her friends this was not happening! Her despair ebbed away and her efforts fell as she thought clearly, this was her time. She let herself go limp and with one dying effort hauled into Riverclan shore , "Good bye..." Her horse whisper gadding as her eyes went dull and rolled into her head. She stayed there silent and dead nothing could be done, as a small figure rose from he she cats body. Her spirt took a stride towards the sky and a small tear fell before it left to watch the clan mates, from above.

SnowFrost came over to the Sunningrocks to see a small figure. It's Fogpaw! Her hackles rose as she trotted closer. She's dead! Her fur went down as she threw herself beside her friend. There she was, lying there alone and crying. Why? Fogpaw was her close friend when they were apprentices. She wanted to see her become a warrior. SnowFrost was alone now, with no friends. Shallowlake-- her best friend died and now Fogpaw died. Why her? Why StarClan? It was over, there was nothing to do now. "I should've been there!" She yowled out loud and tears began falling out of her eyes.
