The thing is friggin beast. 

I dislike all of them except for the Charizard X one (childhood desire for Dark Charizard is now fulfilled). Mega Evolution is not really as thrilling as Nintendo makes it sound. Look at Mega Salamence above, for example.

Mega Evolution is something I'd rather have gone. It is a bint competitively, and it has become the new meta to use one in your team.

The fact that Smogon's just banning every single Mega there is one by one kind of destroys the point of their existence anyways.

A lot of them just look really stupid, too. At most, I like them as much as their original design. At worst, they're just a big visual clusterf**k. Unless they're Charizard-Y. Charizard-Y is love. Charizard-Y is life.
