Jaykit's Apprentice Ceremony

Thrushstar leaped up onto the rock and yowled as loud as he could. "Let all cats old enough to capture their own prey gather underneath jaggedrock for a clan meeting!"

Jaykit padded from the nursery his fur nice and clean, jaykit lifted his head high as he padded to the jaggedrock to sit down. His eyes glowing waiting impatiently for cats to gather and started to wonder who his mentor will be, He hissed in annoyance grooming his fur back down. His tail lashing behind him, Jaykit seemed to grow impatinter by the second, he grunted in annoyance sinking his claws into the dirt making a picture.

"Tonight we gather to make this kit an apprentice," Thrushstar started. "Jaykit, from this day until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Jaypaw, and I will be your mentor." The apprentice ceremonies were always short, but it was good to see the clan grow.

Jay paw blinked the leader was going to be his mentor. "Thank you Thrushstar." He meowed "I will not let you down." He said straightning and dipping his head in respect. He felt as if all eyes were on him this moment. Does every apprentice feel this way? Begotten is paws as the meeting gotdismissed.
