Honeykit walked slowly along to the center of the camp. She looked around, but backed away from the center. She laid herself down, somewhere close to the nursery. She didn't want to get too close to anyone.

Silversong quickly padded out of her new den. I hope I get Honeykit as an apprentice! Silversong thought eagerly. She was new, but experienced. She could teach her so well... She looked at Honeykit then looked at her leader intensely, waiting for him to continue.

"Honeykit, step forward." Reedstar said. "You have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Honeypaw. Your mentor will be Silversong. I hope she will pass down all they she knows onto you."

Honeypaw slowly walked around Silversong, and walked backwards. She didn't trust Silversong, but then again she didn't trust anyone. She turned around when she was far away from Silversong. She sat down by the opening of the apprentice den, too afraid to go in.
