Hailpaw and Bramblepaw's Warrior Ceremony

"Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey join here beneath the Highrock for a Clan meeting!" Dewstar yowled for her Clan to join her. She was pleased with the growth and progress of her Clan despite the cold weather and lack of prey and herbs. It was all coming together quite nicely.

Hailpaw walked over to Dewstar. My ceremony, maybe? It's about time for it to happen now. He wrapped his tail neatly around his paws and waited for his Clanmates to gather around so that Dewstar could continue.

Phoenixflare padded out, sitting next to her brother, and wrapped her tail around her paws. "Wonder what this is," she murmured. "Maybe Hailpaw's warrior ceremony? It IS about time anyways .." Her golden eyes squinted from the bright sunlight as she looked up at Dewstar.

"I, Dewstar, leader of Thunderclan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. He has worked hard to understand the ways of your noble code and I comend him to you as a warrior in his turn. Hailpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?"


OOC: Please forgive my lateness, Twilight. I was waiting for Rook, but it seems Rose made her a new ceremony.

OOC: It's ok :)

IC: "I do," Hailpaw replied solemnly. He was ready to do anything to defend his clan.

"Then by the powers of StarClan, I grant you your warrior name. From this day forward, you shall be known as Hailfang. We welcome you as a full warrior of ThunderClan." As the ritual went, Dewstar jumped down, grunting under her breath. I'm getting too old for this. She rested her muzzle momentarily on the new warrior's head.

Hailfang respectfully licked Dewstar's shoulder. I'm finally a warrior!
