Bramblekit's Apprentice Ceremony

Dewstar was, once again, on top of the Highrock. She exhaled through her mouth and watched her breath float away. They were lucky to be so blessed during Leaf-bare. "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey join here beneath the Highrock for a Clan meeting!"

Bramblekit stepped out of the nursery and amd padded over to Highrock. 'I wonder why she needs us.' he thought.

Out of the warriors den came Rookheart who stopped at the apprentice den to wait for Tawnypaw. Once the calico she-cat came out, the two cats went to Highrock and sat down.

Addertail padded over and sat down, listening to what Dewstar had to say. Probably another ceremony.

"Bramblekit, please step forward. You have reached the age of six moons and it is time for you to become an apprentice. From this day until your warrior name is earned, you will be called Bramblepaw. I will be your mentor." She jumped down and landed in the snow in front of the newly named Bramblepaw. She bent her neck to touch noses with him and gave a gentle smile.

Bramblepaw touched noses with his new mentor. He couldn't believe he was going be trained by the Leader!

Rookheart smiled softly before she whispered in Tawnypaw's ear and they went off.
