ADDER VS RED GOOOOO

Ic: Addertail padded towards the Thunderpath, by himself(for now). He decided to do a lone patrol since he couldn't sleep. It was just barely past moonhigh, and Shadowclan would be stirring soon. Best to check the border with them; Thunderclan and Shadowclan weren't exactly friends...

Redshade stalked through the darkness, a shadow blending in like a snake in the leaves He paused at the Thunderpath, crouching, invisible in the shadows as he watched. Someone was approaching. Someone Thunderclan, and this tom had been itching for a fight for days. Too many things on his mind, it made him want to release some anger.
Then he saw him. The large, bulky black and white tom with the striped tail. He had seen him before...Adderpaw, right? But now they were both older, and bigger...Much bigger. With sharper claws and hungrier fangs. Redshade narrowed his eyes, letting out a low growl.

Addertail perked his ears, glancing around at the sound of a growl. "Who's there?" He called out, tone firm and challenging. He glared across the Thunderpath, looking hard. There he was. A familiar face; russet fur, a long black stripe on his back, lighter tail, piercing green eyes. This tom had acted quite obnoxious the last time he saw him at the border, on a patrol. They were younger back then, and now this same cat was looking at Addertail like prey. Unsheathing his claws, the Thunderclan warrior stared back at the shadowy figure, a warning in his mossy-colored eyes.
Then he attacked. Redshade leaped forward, paws thudding across the Thunderpath. Addertail met him halfway, determined to keep him off Thunderclan land. There were no monsters tonight so far, lucky for them. The two clashed, Redshade ducking under Addertail and raking harsh back-claws through the Thunderclan cat's soft belly. Addertail swung around and bit into his shoulder, bringing a struggling Redshade up to his feet again and shaking him viciously. Redshade was tossed aside, leaping to his paws and out of the way before Addertail could attack him again. The two turned to face each other, tails lashing, ears laid back.

Ooc: For this topic, screw the battle system as long as you're fair. This is a moment to bring out individual fighting strengths and weaknesses in your characters, for the sake of rp. Let the fur fly!

As Spottedfeather heard the screeches of cats and the smell of blood, she darted towards the Thunderpath, Nightpaws accident in the back of her mind. She noted her son, Addertail, attacked by two male Shadowclan cats. As she reached closer, she leaped, her fur flowing as she bashed her paw onto Soulfang head, most likely knocking his brain around a good bit. She growled lowly "Shadowclan pests" she insulted, her good nature giving way to her b*tchy angry she-cat side.

Mapleheart derped around Shadowclan territory, not hearing anything. *waiting for more Thunderclan*

Redshade perked his ears and grinned in satisfaction as Soulfang appeared to give Addertail a harsh bite to the side. Addertail's yelp made his grin widen, and Redshade couldn't take it anymore. He wanted in on the action, too. He launched forward, and together they managed to outweigh the large Thunderclan tom, Redshade digging his claws in Addertail's shoulders and forcing him down on his side. He tore his fangs into his fore-leg, hearing a sickening crack as he suddenly snapped his head sideways. Addertail let out a screech, flailing. Then, out of the corner of his eye, he spotted his mother ram into Soulfang, sending him flying back. He roared at them and dug long, sharp claws into Redshade's chest, forcing him backwards. Addertail scrambled to his paws, holding one leg up in pain. Now was not the time for that though. He placed his foot carefully down, wincing at the pain. He then turned to Redshade, just to see the tom was gone.

Redshade appeared from behind, leaping onto Addertail's back and clinging on, claws slashing and fur ripping. When his enemy tried to rear up to buck him off, he dug one of his front claws in Addertail's head and forced him down using leverage. He was playing with him now, holding a flailing, old enemy in place there on the Thunderpath, which was becoming more red by the minute. Redshade looked up at Soulfang with a little bit of a crazed look in his green eyes. I'm holding him for you, they said, silent and beckoning.

Spottedfeather felt Soulfang's claws rip into her flesh, though out of the corner of her eye, she noticed the other warrior, seeming to play with her son, making his face go into the Thunderpath. Red seemed in the corners of her vision, her queen-like anger making her feel strength, more than usual. She jumped away from the claws attacking her, before launching forward and knocking him other, placing both of her paws, claws unsheathed, at his neck. She crouched low against his body, possibly making it almost impossible to kick her stomach, but still available (Trying to not godmod) If the tom moved much, he claws would tear his throat, even slightly. She kept have her gaze on him, while watching Redshade from the corner of her eye.

Well there goes his chance. Addertail was up as soon as Soulfang decided to go for Spottedfeather instead. He twisted around, scraping his face against the asphalt in the process but not really caring. Pushing a surprised Redshade off, he reared up and used his weight to slash very effectively into Redshade's face, blood spouting everywhere. The Shadowclan tom yowled in pain, letting out a snarl of rage and running at Addertail. The Thunderclan cat tried to dodge, but failed as his leg injury caught up with him. Instead, he buckled to the ground, and Redshade slammed into his side, making him slide backwards. While Addertail staggered to his feet, looking at Redshade like he wanted to kill him, Redshade took the moment to run towards Spottedleaf. He twisted sideways suddenly, giving her an unexpected blow to the shoulder with his back claws as they bucked out.

He grunted, shaking his head. His face still hurt. Glancing at Soulfang to make sure he was okay, he was surprised from behind as Addertail slammed a massive paw in his side and knocked Redshade off-balance. He then jumped around and hit the staggering tom in the other side, causing him to fall onto his side. Redshade looked up at him in shock as the bulky cat loomed over him, pinning him with sharp claws. But Addertail was a man of the code, and simply growled in the tom's face rather than attacking him more.
"Get out of here!" He snarled. He only received a grin from Redshade as he suddenly felt sharp back claws dig into his stomach, deep and raking down repeatedly. Leaping away, Addertail's front legs buckled and he fell writhing on the ground a moment in pain as he tried to get up. Stupid leg injury. He panted, calming down and struggling to his paws again. Blood flowed heavily from his stomach, where he realized Redshade had been focusing his attacks on. All the repeated, vicious cuts and bites to his underbelly had made Addertail start to feel sick and weak from blood loss. So that's what you're planning. He thought, glaring at Redshade, who was looking at him with a grin, though he too was panting and bleeding heavily from several wounds. You sneaky fox-hearts! You two are trying to kill us!

Spottedfeather realized she couldn't focus too much on Addertail anymore, so instead she focused all her strength in her opponent right here. She growled again as he spoke, his claws to her throat. "I would kick yo a$$ because i'm A BOSS A$$ B*TCH have your guts all over this Thunderpath, you (fu- woah, what am I typing) stupid fleabag. You're too young and inexperienced." she hissed with fury, her words stinging, her glare one of death, the type of glare to make even leaders flinch. She kicked Soulfang belly, her claws raking it so blood followed in her claws path. Her back legs made the tom start to fly not backward, but as if he was going to go over her head. She took her chance and slammed her paw onto his head, knocking away his chance of getting to her throat. She shoved him off of her before backing away. Where was the rest of her clan?

Mapleheart finally noticed the screeching in the distance, so she ran towards it. She noticed Soulfang beating on the Thunderclan deputy, threatening to kill her, but not because of the warrior code. She noticed her brother, Redshade toturing another Thunderclan cat. She pinned her ears, that foolish brother of hers! Nami ran onto the Thunderpath to beat Luffy Mapleheart ran onto the Thunderpath and gave her brother a soft, but firm bat to the ears. "What do you think you're doing! You are going to make things worse between the two clans you fool!" she yelled almost straight in his ears, hissing at him in the process.

Addertail blinked in surprise as Mapleheart stepped in. He said nothing, but looked over to see his mother getting attacked. He growled and jumped to her side, grabbing Soulfang's tail in his teeth and yanking on it, trying to get him off Spottedfeather.

Redshade growled, glaring at his sister. "We can talk about this when I have their pelts!" He snarled, shoving past her and going for Addertail once more. If his sister was going to get in the way of his fight, then he'd just have to force her out of his way. Though a tiny voice in the back of his head that wasn't full of blood-thirsty thoughts at the moment prayed that it wouldn't come to that.
Addertail let go of Soulfang's tail as he felt claws meet his neck and rip at his fur. Stumbling backwards, he turned in shock to see Redshade bowl him over and pin him there, claws digging mercilessly at his chest. Addertail fought for breath, feeling a little dizzy. His vision was growing a little hazy, and he realized the danger he was in. We need help..! He thought in sudden panic.

Spottedfeather saw Addertail start to yank on Soulfangs tail before getting attacked himself. She shoved Soulfang away from her, making him go in her line of vision of Redshade. She clawed her opponents face before running and tackling him, making him knock into Redshade, saving Addertail from more injury. She ran over to him, putting her body over his and pinning her ears while hissing. She would not allow her kit to die here, nor be put near death. That already happened with Nightpaw. Speaking of Nightpaw

Nightpaw heard a commotion while searching for herbs (which he does apparently constantly) and ran toward it. blah blah blah He hissed, before standing even before his mother. He hissed before using him status to his advantage "You wouldn't hurt a medicine cat would you?" he was apprentice actually, but he was the size of a full grown cat, and they wouldn't know right? Yeah, they weren't Thunderclan cats, so they wouldn't know.

Mapleheart felt her brother push her aside, she hissed under her breath. She watched as he was knocked aside, and she smirked. He deserved that one, there wasn't a need to fight. She didn't smell Thunderclan on their side, so she thought that her clan started it.
