Hawkpaw's Border Patrol

Shadeflame sat by the entrance of the camp, as his tail twitched back and forth. The sun was just rising, and it was time to take his newest apprentice, Hawkpaw on a patrol. Deciding to call Hawkpaw again, he padded over to the Apprentices' Den, and poked his head in, careful not to wake the other apprentices. "Hawkpaw," he called softly, nudging the apprentice with one paw. "Time to wake up for your border patrol."

Rolling over, hawkpaw tiredly groaned. Sitting up slowly he padded to Shadeflame and yawned. " I'm ready when you are. " he meowed. " is anybody else coming?"

Shadeflame shook his head. "No," he mewed. "Cormorantpaw was made an apprentice before you, and she already went on a patrol yesterday, so I'm giving her a break." He padded out of the den and towards the entrance of the camp, and he turned his head over his shoulder. "After the border patrol, we can do some hunting and battle training, if you'd like, Hawkpaw," the black warrior mewed. "It's up to you. I don't really care what we do."

Hawkpaws eyes shot wide open at the thought of battle training. He couldn't wait to learn moves and someday defeat a trespassing thunderclan warrior... Hawkpaw relaxed when he realized his claws were digging deep in the ground. " oh can we!!?" He meowed excitidly. Hawkpaws whiskers twitched slightly in embarrassment, when he realized that he sounded like a kit. " er.. I mean.. Yeah that would be great.. Battle training would be good..."

Shadeflame nodded, before arriving at a clearing. He turned around, lightning fast, and crouched down in a battle stance. "Get ready," he mewed. "Okay. You use a battle move on me, and I'll see how you do."

Each rank has different stats. HP and Stanima like you apprentices, you have;

Apprentices have 20 HP and 80 stamina

Whateverpaw here is fighting another apprentice. He has to pick a move from here. Let's pretend he used Front Paw Strike on the other apprentice, Somethingpaw

SO Whateverpaw would have to look at the stats of each move. The amount of stamina this certain move takes is 10 units. So with his 80 stamina, he takes away 10 to get 70.

For the health, Whateverpaw needs to go down to the other chart below, and find his rank and his move. Once he finds it, the Front Paw Strike deals 6 damage, taking 6 away from Somethingpaw's Health Points, so Somethingpaw has 14 health points.

After the math, Whateverpaw types out his RP paragraph.

Whateverpaw charged at Somethingpaw, yowling, before he lifted a sheathed claw and brought it down on Somethingpaw, smashing him to the ground. "Ha!" he mewed. "Take that, Somethingpaw!" (Or something like that c:)

Whateverpaw used Front Paw Strike on Somethingpaw, dealing 6 damage and taking 10 stamina.

You should probably keep track of your opponents' stats, to make everything much easier c:

Hawkpaw crouched ready to leap onto his mentors back. He circled around Shadeflame and leaped up, grabbing on to his back with his hind paws and batting with sheathed front paws.

Hawkpaw used leap and hold on Shadeflame, dealing 14 damage and taking 10 stamina

When Shadeflame felt Hawkpaw's weight on his back, he quickly ducked into a roll, and rolled out of his way, before leaping back up to his feet. "Not bad for a first timer," the warrior praised Hawkpaw. "But, you have to be careful about your balance. Your balance was a bit off, and you also need to land in a specific place, mostly the shoulders, to get a good hold and not let your enemy get out from beneath me." Shadeflame nodded in approval. "Try a different move this time."

Hawkpaw sat up and shook his fur before replying, " okay Shadeflame. " circling around Shadeflame, he snarled and smashed his sheathed paw across Shadeflames face.

hawkpaw used Front Paw Blow on Shadeflame, dealing 12 damage and taking 5 stamina
