| Littlelight sat silently by the sunning rocks, purring quietly as he soaked in the sun's warm rays, his icy blue eyes filled with happiness. All in all, the day had been pretty good. He hadn't been asked if his 'apprentice' duties were going good because of his height and he was going to be showing his new apprentice hunting practice. So he sat and continued waiting silently in the sun. ______________________________________ (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚

| Littlelight gave Minnowpaw a small smile as he stalked over into RiverClan territory, flicking his tail in signal for his apprentice to follow. When they had reached a part of the river, full with fish swimming by in their hurry, he turned to Minnowpaw. "Today, we're going to hunt," he mewed to the apprentice, his eyes gleaming. ______________________________________ (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚

| Minnowpaw smiled and nodded. "My father said that you should never let your shadow cross the water, it will scare the fish away. The sun is infront of us, so our shadow shouldn't fall on the water." He stated as he glanced at the burning ball of fire which was beginning to set. ______________________________________ Ozymandias I met a traveller from an antique land, Who said—“Two vast and trunkless legs of stone Stand in the desert. | Littlelight gave his apprentice a small nod of approval. "Correct - very true," he mewed, looking into the water. The small cat focused all his attention to the fish flittering by, big and small. Then out of nowhere, the warrior dip his paw into the water with his claws unsheathed, his paw going as fast as he could. Littlelight brought his paw up with a fat, wriggling fish and he gave it a swift bite to kill it in one move.

| Minnowpaw smiled and copied as his mentor did. Focusing on the water, hi slashed his paw into the water, claws unsheathed, and as if in slow motion, a minnow flew out from the water and trailing behind it was small white splashes like the ones on Minnowpaw's forehead. Gaping his jaws wide open, the minnow nearly missed his mouth and landed on the floor, so Minnowpaw slammed his paw down in the wriggling silver fish, killing it instantly. ______________________________________ Ozymandias I met a traveller from an antique land, Who said—“Two vast and trunkless legs of stone Stand in the desert. | Littlelight gave a purr of amusement. "You got the fish and all," he started, "but it's always important to learn technique, so you can get an easier kill." He crouched into a fish hunting position and nodded to Minnowpaw. "You try," he instructed. ______________________________________ (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚

| Minnowpaw followed his instructions and focused on the water. His paw glided into the water with claws unsheathed andbrought up a large fish. Stretching his neck, Minnowpaw bit the trout, killing it in a flash. ______________________________________ Ozymandias I met a traveller from an antique land, Who said—“Two vast and trunkless legs of stone Stand in the desert. | Littlelight nodded in approval. "Good job," he mewed, picking up his fish and gesturing for Minnowpaw to follow with the other fish. "C'mon, that's enough for today. Let's bring the fish back to camp, and later we'll go on a border patrol." ______________________________________ (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚
