OOC: Sure, anyone can join, and, true, Scorchkit is a pretty big kit though. Sorry, I got a bit carried away as I do when battling.
Scorchkit looked around. People were beginning to stare. He saw Icekit, but didn't growl. He was a kit aswell, and if Scorchkit was to make any friends he wouldn't do it by growling at them.

"Too scared to move?" Redpaw grunted, unimpressed. He ignored the other apprentices, not caring if they wanted to watch. But he relaxed and sat down, looking at Scorchkit with an empty gaze. "Whatever; I can't actually hurt you without getting in huge trouble anyways. You have good spirit though, I'll give you that." The snarky apprentice meowed, as if a compliment from him was like a gift from Starclan. Watch out, we got a bad*ss over here.
He glanced at Icekit, realizing he might have startled some of the other kits. That's no good. He'd be getting a scolding for that if someone found out he was causing trouble...Again. "Sorry if I disturbed you all in the nursery." Redpaw apologized, though purposely not looking at Scorchkit when he said so.

"Me too." Scorchkit grumbled to Icekit. He turned his head to Redpaw and sat down. Licking his paw, he flattened his fur. "So. How long have you been an apprentice for and who is you mentor?" Scorchkit questioned, narrowing his eyes in an evaluatating way.

"Not too long, but that doesn't mean I don't know what I'm doing." Redpaw huffed. "And if you really want to know, Thrushstripe is my mentor." He answered, narrowing his eyes at the kit. Scorchkit was a lot like when Redpaw was a kit, he realized. Maybe he should try to get along with him? He could use a friend...Or a friendly rival, more likely. His only other 'friend' was his sister at the moment; Maplepaw.

Redpaw flicked an ear, not hearing the whispers. "Hey kit. I'm Redpaw." He introduced himself in a tone that pointed out that he obviously didn't care. There was even a hint of boredom to it.

"Yea, its me" Maplepaw padded back into camp, setting her prey onto the freshkill pile. She heard that kits were arguing with her brother. "And I think you should be a little less rude and quite quarreling." she swiftly said to Scorchkit, sitting on her haunches and pulling his tail across her front paws. She gave a quick cold glare before making it neutral again.

As Maplepaw padded over his eyes widened. "Sorry." Scorchkit mumbled, not blinking or taking his flaming amber eyes off the beautiful apprentice. "Who's your mentor?" Scorchkit asked.
