First time out of the nursery

Stormkit crawled out of the nursery, taking a careful look at his surroundings. He crawled out some more. "This place is cool!" Stormkit stood up straight and padded over to the fresh-kill pile. "This looks tasty," He said as he grabbed a squirrel the size of him. He dragged his food back to the entrance of the nursery and sat down and started to gulp it down.

Wanderingkit was sleeping in his bed inside the nursery. He was snoring loudly. At the roof of the nursery, a acorn hung from the top, right above the ginger tabby. Suddenly, as a breeze whirled around camp, the acorn fell. Pop! Right into Wanderingkit's mouth. His eyes popped open, he lept up, suddenly spitting out the nut. He let out squeak of surprise.

Amberkit yawned and stretched. She saw the sun shining outside onto a pile of fresh-kill. "Wow!" Says Amberkit running outside. Amberkit watched some other cats return from a hunting patrol and starts to run around the camp peeking into all the dens.
