Darkshadow's tail tingled excitedly. My first apprentice... She thought, grinning at the warm thought. "Shiningpaw!" Darkshadow called from outside the camp.

Shiningpaw came running out, "hi darkshadow!!!!!" "Are we gonna train!?" she said happy.

Darkshadow hushed the apprentice. "Yes, Shiningpaw." She meowed. "Today, we are going to have a bit of battle practice. Can you crouched down like this?" Darkshadow asked, bending down.

She crouched down like darkshadow was showing her "Hows this?"

Darkshadow nodded. "Good. Now, last out you're paw in the air as strongly as you can." She said sternly.

she lashed it out..."How was that?"

"Good. Now do the same to me, claws unsheathed." She growled playfully, grinning and lashing her tail.

She lashed out her paw and hit darkshadow "W-was that good?" she asked tilting her head

"Yes, but be faster, incase it's WindClan you are hitting. They are scrawny and small, making them very quick."

This time she lashed out her paw as fast as she could...she looked up at dark asking with a expression if it was good

"Good, good." She mewed. "An apprentice worthy of StarClan." She whispered. "This move will help you get to the chest of you're opponent, but at the same time you must press you're neck into you're fur so it isn't exposed in doing so."

Shining listned carefully and took mental notes on everything she said

She purred heavily. "Now, why don't we do a bit of hunting, shall we?" She asked. "Or would you like some more battle moves?"

"Hunting please!" she smiled as best a cat could smile

Darkshadow smiled at the obvious answer. "Alright, then. Show me what you know, for now."
