A day in the Territory

Raccoonstar walked along the tall dry grass, as the sun beat down upon the open moor. The sun has been shining very bright for the past few days, and the occasional cloud comes along to take away the heat, but as the further it goes into new-leaf the warmer it gets. The leader decided to find a nice stone to lay on out in the territory. She wanted to take it easy for a bit. Some of her wounds were still healing up after the fox attack. It bothered her that a fox took a life of hers after becoming a leader not to long ago. The she-cat sighed as she came upon the rock she was looking for. Slowly she made her way to the top, and settled herself down. She was expecting to see if anyone would be passing by.

Ivypaw had a rabbit in her jaws when she saw Raccoonstar laying on a rock. "Hi Raccoonstar! How are you doing? I was about to go take my catch to the elders, but I think I can wait and talk with you!" She said happily. Sitting down, she couldn't help but look at her leaders injuries from the fox.

Raccoonstar turned her head to see the new apprentice to Windclan."Hello Ivypaw, I am fine. I hope your hunt was okay?" The leader asked. Her blue eyes squinting in the sun light.
