Silentkit's First Time Out

Silentkit just woke up from her sleep, opening her eyes for the first time. 'Wow, the camp is so big! I can't believe I live here!' She thought as she looked around anxiously at all the dens and cats. Silentkit started walking towards the medicine cat den and looked at all the herbs. "Oh this one looks yummy!" She whispered as she picked up a poppy seed and swallowed it.

Embershade had come to check on Silentkit, and see the kit for the first time. She had been walking towards the nursery when she saw a (white?) fluff of moving fur enter the medicine den. Embershade padded towards the medicine den, hoping the kit didn't get into trouble. She entered the den, just as she saw Silentkit pick up a seed and swallow it. She immediately remembered the name, poppy seed! She rushed over to the kit. "Why did you eat the poppy seed?" She asked, worrying for the kit. "Come one, Silentkit. Let's tell Coldheart what happened." She started to exit the medicine den.

Silentkit replied sleepily "Uhm... It looked yummy? I don't know why I ate it. I thought it might be better than what I usually have." She followed Embershade out, despite how she didn't want to follow her.

"No matter what, never eat anything in the medicine den unless you have a medicine cat's permission and know what it is." Embershade meowed. "That was a poppy seed. It makes you sleepy, and you were lucky you only ate one. Do you feel sleepy?"

"I will Embershade. And, I am pretty sleepy actually." Silentkit replied.

"Then, I suggest you get some sleep in the nursery." She meowed as they reached the entrance. "I'll leave it to you to tell Coldheart what happened. Or do you want me to?"

"But I don't want to sleep! And I want you to tell her, Embershade. Please?" Silentkit mewed, looking up at Embershade with pleading eyes.

Ember shade sighed. "Fine."

OOC: Alright, I was going to, but since you have probably already PMed her... Oh well!

IC: "Yay! Thanks Embershade!" Silentkit mewed, jumping up and down, the sleepiness went away quickly as if it were never there.

Coldheart walked out of the nursery sleepily. "Silentkit." she mewed. "Why are you out so early? I was going to have la-" she looked over at the medicine cat's den and saw a few poppyseeds on the ground. Jumping into the air hysterically she meowed, "OH MY STARCLAN! Did you eat a poppyseed? How many? Are you OK?" she started checking her daughter to see if she was alright.

"I'm fine mom! I only ate one. It was yummy though." Silentkit replied. Still jumping around, Silentkit felt a surge of energy, causing her to become a bit more hyper.

Coldheart muttered to herself. "Thank Starclan." Then she mewed, "Well, Good." She purred. "I am glad your okay." she mewed. She had been so protective since Silentkit was born early. She didn't want her to die,

"Where's dad? I want to play, play, play!" Silentkit mewed, still happily jumping around. "Oh and Larchkit too!"

Coldheart licked her kits head. "No, I am sorry. He is busy. Larchkit could play though!" She mewed. Larchkit ran over. "Hey!" she mewed. "I wanna play!" she mewed, jumping up and down.

"Aw, but I wanted dad too! Oh well, I've heard of a game called Moss-ball, but I don't know what it is. Someone teach me?" Silentkit mewed, pleading to learn to play.
