War the Never Ends (chapter 4)

Flamepaw got out of his den and shook the moss out of his fur. He sighed and went downstairs, nothing to do.

Tigerclaw, a warrior now, padded out of her den. "Hello, Flame." she greeted.

Flame looked at his sister and nodded his head. "Hello, Tiger. What do you have planned today?"

"Hmm... Let me think..." she said. "Hmm... Another clan, a new forest, a colony of bats, an unexplored island... We've got those to choose from." she said.

"Hm..." He thought. "I like the colony of bats and the island idea."

"Fortunately, the colony of bats ARE on the island." she said happily.

Flamepaw chuckled and nodded. "Great!"

She nodded and padded off to summon the others.

Flame ate a mouse and stretched. He was getting ready. He wondered where Enchanted was. He wanted to say sorry to her and make her understand.

As if on cue, Enchanting padded out of her den and picked up a piece of prey.

Flame saw Enchanting and smiled. "Hello, my love."

Enchanting glanced at Flame, and continued eating.

"Enchanting, please. I'm sorry." He said. He sat down next to her.
