The Deomilities versus SkyClan [P3]

Amalric yowled, desperately trying to fling the large cat off of him. Suddenly, though, Flamestar was tackled with a Front Paw Strike by another cat. She was pushed off of Amalric, and the cat used a Front Paw Strike as well.
It did 34 damage in all to the cat. Godfrey, the other attacker, glared at Amalric. "You'll have to quit acting so callow on the field of battle, or things won't be so good for you." he said rather harshly. Amalric's blood turned to ice. What did that mean?
The cat ached all over, but he had to continue on with the battle.

Anna and Bernard erupted from the apprentice den, done with the lone SkyClan apprentice. They needed a new opponent, and they joined Conrad on the battlefield, surrounding the SkyClan medicine cat. Things suddenly got a lot harder for the two defenders. But the two leaped onto the medicine cat apprentice, Kestrelpaw, in a flurry of paws and yowls, overwhelming the young apprentice.

Flamestar roared as he was over-powered by not one, but two cats at once. Talk about bad disadvantages. He wasn't going down without a fight. Even if Skyclan... Starclan forbid... Lost this battle, he was going to give these rogues plenty of deep scars to remember him by.

The leader ducked down, twisting and repeating his move from before. He dug his claws into the belly of Amalric, determined to tear down at least one of these cats. Who better than the stinking flea-bag who back-stabbed them in the first place?

Flamestar used Belly-Rake, using up 10 SP and dealing 20 damage.

Godfrey spat. "Amalric. You can upright lock, right?" he meowed coolly. Amalric nodded, injured by the last attack. He did so, locking the weakened leader in a crushing tackle and hold. While he did this, Godfrey uppercut the leader's head with an Upright front paws. It dealt 33 damage in all.

Flamestar spat blood from his mouth. This was hopeless. His clan would be killed off unless he did something.

"Skyclan! Retreat!"

With that, the leader struggled to get out from under the cats paws, hissing at them angrily. With a glare at Amalric, he suddenly swiped his paw at him, missing purposely just to get himself out from under them.

With a nod, Silentfeather raced out of camp as quickly as she could, grabbing her hidden supplies from outside camp, and hurried towards ThunderClan territory.

Godfrey suddenly pinned down the cat. "Amalric! I got him down! Kill him!" he spat. Amalric froze. What? He wanted him to kill the cat?
"I can't!" he yelled back. Godfrey looked at him with unbelieving eyes. "What do you mean? My paws are full here! Kill him!"
Amalric hesitated. Godfrey growled, and jumped up under the struggling leader, biting his neck open. Blood spurted everywhere.

Flamestar yelped, mouth hanging open. For a moment his fading eyes glanced up at Amalric with a look of dread that seemed to say, Why?

The leader went limp under Godfrey's paws, losing his first life of the nine he had received when he became leader.

The defeated SkyClan cats fled, though few in number. They couldn't turn back now. Anna gave chase with a triumphant yowl, nipping at the heels of the fleeing cats as Flamestar's blood poured from the neck wound. The Deomilites were victorious!

A large smile appeared on Bernard's face. "We must go tell Urban and bring them here!" he mewed excitedly. He hadn't gotten a scratch this battle. They were right when they said that the Deomilites were victorious. Surely the gods had handed them this victory.

Conrad smiled weakly, blood trickling down the corner of his mouth. He was badly injured. He stumbled forward, limping heavily. He'd gotten a real beating from that fight... And the cat wasn't even trained in battle! Everyone else seemed so relatively unscathed. But it had been him and Amalric who had been in the thick of the fighting. He sighed, not daring to say anything though, with a quick scared glance at Godfrey. Not even a joke would be tolerated.

Amalric smiled, beaten as well. His back ached. He wanted to just lay down.
Suddenly, though, he felt his side get headbutted. He collapsed, blood spurting from his mouth. Godfrey was the one who had tackled him. "This cat is a fake! He does not believe in the power of the Gods! He hesitated to sacrifice this leader of the sky clan!" he yelled to the others. "He must be punished!"
He grabbed Amalric's scruff, who was shocked. His pelt burned, but he managed to stay on his paws. Godfrey frowned. "Let's go, you scum. We'll see what Urban will do with you."
And with that, the Deomilites went to gather the rest.

Kestrelflight followed, her shock temporarily gone.

Now the camp was empty it seemed, besides the dead leader.

Flamestar...

The leader shifted, feeling soft grass beneath him.

"Flamestar."

The voice was clearer. Opening his eyes, Flamestar realized he wasn't in Skyclan camp anymore. He was in a brightly lit forest, and he quickly knew he had died.

He had failed his clanmates. The battle was lost. Worst of all, in his own camp.

"Flamestar!" The leader whipped around as the voice sounded very close and loud. A pretty firey-orange she-cat stood in front of him, beside her a russet tabby tom. "You've lost a life, Flamestar. You only have 8 more. You're clan has fled the battlefield, and the rogues are gone." The she-cat explained gently with a sympathetic look in her eyes.

Flamestar blinked in shock. He instantly recognized his parents: Firepelt and Tigerfang. "We...Lost? In our own camp?" He breathed. "But that's impossible! Skyclan was doing so well before..."

His mother hushed him with a flick of her tail. "It's true. Those rogues aren't ordinary, Flamestar. Be careful." With that, she began to fade away. His father narrowed his eyes and said nothing.

Flamestar's eyes flung open, darting around the blood-stained clearing. The area was silent, and there was blood splatters around his body where a deep neck wound had been cut open by that fox-hearted rogue. Before he died, Flamestar recalled this "Lionheart"'s name to actually be Amalric, according to the larger cat who had killed him. This cat was clever, giving himself a clan name so he'd be more accepted.

The leader struggled to his paws, wincing as the slow dripping noise of blood from his wound echoed over the ground of the empty camp. His mother was right: The once lively camp was left barren as the rest of the cats had fled. He hoped they were okay, and that they had headed to Thunderclan, considering Lionstar was absolutely more trustworthy than Sagestar. Not that he trusted him: They were rivals. But it was the last place for them to go at the moment, though he hated to admit it.

Limping towards the camp entrance, Flamestar made sure the rogues were truly gone before leaving, still alert for any enemies.
