” Tag?” Kesterelpaw asked, cocking her head to the side.

Icepaw flickered his tail to the side, saying 'yes'. "Tag!" He jumped on her tail, and ran away.

She giggled, taking after him.

OOC: I'm going to make Icepaw die young because I want to join SC witch he's going to die when he's a young warrior
Ic: Icepaw, ran as fast as he could. He made it down the hill and he looked behind his shoulder panting.

OoC: He should go into her dreams a lot.

IC: Kestrelpaw was in far worse shape then Icepaw, as she was already panting. "Slow... Down!" she gasped.

Icepaw smiled, pumping his legs hard. "Never!" He said, then stopped. "Ugh... I can't-can't run any longer" He panted.

Kestrelpaw stretched the final way, pouncing on him as she giggled.

Icepaw looked down, as he laid. "I quit!"

Kestrelpaw plopped down next to him, snuggling her head on his stomach. "What a run."

Icepaw purred, still panting. "I know, you need to get into better shape."

"Shush!" she scolded, faking hurt. She rolled over, looking up at the sky. "Icepaw?" she asked quietly.

Icepaw looked up into the sky with her. "Yes?" He asked

Kestrelpaw didn't answer for a while, then shook her head. "Have you ever thought of what it would be like to be a bird? To fly higher than the trees? To not be tied down with rules, rules, and more rules? To not have to worry about keeping all their flock mates alive? Sometimes I do. At night. I dream that I'm flying up their with them. That no cat can stop me."

Icepaw thought for a moment. "Yes no rules would be nice, and to fly, to see the world beyond the forest." He looked down. "...And for you to have a mate..." He looked down as he said that it was to late to take it back. Deep inside he did love her. "I..." He trailed off, he knew if he side his feelings she would turn away from him

"Yeah." she breathed out. "As a kit I did not understand the power of love. It's the only thing I don't like about being a medicine cats. I will never be able to have kits." she said softly, closing her eyes to let the wind travel through her fur.
