If your nose becomes itchy while you are sleeping, it's a sure sign that a Drowzee is standing above your pillow and trying to eat your dream through your nostrils.

Update: You guys might be wondering what that little golden leaf next to Danny and Wind is, am I right? Well, that would be a shiny leaf. They are very hard to find, and it is going to be my goal to have Danny/Wind find five of them. Because I don't want to have like five pictures of that little leaf next to Danny/Wind, I'll just put a number next to it, and once I get to five I'll change the leaf picture to something else, what you get for getting five shiny leafs.

Little: you basically just start a regular pokemon game but you have to follow these rules while playing:
The most basic Nuzlocke rules, as they were first introduced, are as follows:
Any Pokémon that faints is considered dead, and must be released. The player may only catch the first Pokémon encountered in each area, and none else. If the first Pokémon encountered faints or flees, there are no second chances.
While not exactly a definite rule, the general consensus is that players must also nickname all of their Pokémon, for the sake of forming stronger emotional bonds.
Optional rules:
Though the above rules tend to stay consistent with all challengers, manyoptional variations and amendments to the rules also exist to further adjust difficulty. These include, but are not limited to:
Adjusting the first encounter rule to ban duplicate captures. Considering a black out/white out to be "game over," even if there are Pokémon left in the PC. Going to options and making the battle style "set", leaving the player unable to switch out. After the first wild Pokémon was caught, the starter Pokémon must be released. Banning the use of Potions and healing items, relying only on Pokémon Centers for healing. Banning the use of Pokémon Centers, relying only on Potions and healing items for healing. Limiting Pokémon Center visits to a certain number per town. Banning the use of held items. Limiting the number of Poké Balls to purchase per Poké Mart. Banning the use of Master Balls. Rather than releasing the Pokémon, it can be migrated or permanently boxed should it happen to faint. The player may not evolve captured Pokémon, but evolved Pokémon maybe caught. No catching/using of legendaries. As a mercy rule, allowing 1-3 "second chances" or revives of fallen team members
Many other rules exist; challengers adjust their personal rules accordingtotheirown preferences. In order to be considered a true Nuzlocke Challenge, however, the two core rules must be in place.

1. Only the first pokemon in each new area may be caught.
- - - - - - duplicates clause;; meeting a pokemon already caught. - - - - - - shiny clause;; if you were to ever run into a shiny, catch it. no exceptions.
2. If a pokemon faints, it is considered dead and must be released.
- - - - - - bullsh*t clause;; if some retarded thing happens like, say, two or three critical hits in a row. ಠ_ಠ
3. All pokemon must be nicknamed, if only to grow closer to them.
