Shiningheart watched them leave and jumped up raceing after them. " hey can I join?"

Ravenfeather tried to keep her voice calm while answering. "sure, why not?" she said to Iceclaw, glancing at their new arrival. "You can join if you want, shiningheart."

"great!"she smiled she fell in line with her brother as they made their way to the Riverclan border.

Stormeye came to a stop at the border, and glanced around. "Try to get as much as you can and try not to get hurt." He padded a little away until he noticed a rabbit munching on the grass and dropped into a couch. He slowly pulled himself forward, until he jumped at it. He easily landed on it as it cried out, and quickly killed it.

Shiningheart watched him catch the rabbit. "good job!" she called then tased the air, the smell of rabbits came to her. She noticed it trying to open a seed and stalked it her eyes fixed on the creature that would hopefully feed her clan, she leaped missing the rabbit, it darted away and Shiningheart raced after it.She leaped again squarely on the prey, she held it up and carried it back to the other warriors.

Stormeye nodded happily at Shiningheart as he also padded back with his rabbit, dropping it so they could make a small pile. "Good job, Shiningheart!" he purred, before heading back to see if he could find another rabbit to hunt. Lucky, he found another one taking a drink at the border, and he slowly moved toward it, then he leaped. His jaws took hold on its neck as he landed on it. He felt his back paws slid on the muddy bank as it hit it. He had the already dead rabbit in his jaws, so he quickly let go of it as he flipped into the water, wanting to keep the prey dry. He let out a small yowl as water hit his fur, as he had never gotten wet before and he hated how it felt. He quickly swam back to the bank and pulled his, wet, soggy body out, letting out a small cough of water. Shaking himself free of the water, he picked the rabbit back up and padded back to the group, growling to himself.

Shiningheart stifled a laugh. " what happened? Tryed to get a fish?"

"I slipped, ok? But I got the rabbit I was hunting." he muttered, dropping the rabbit onto the small pile.

Ravenfeather rolled her eyes, adding her own rabbit to the pile. she had caught it rummaging through the weeds and managed to creep up on it before it fled due to the havoc stormeye caused. "You're slick." she mumbled.

Iceclaw huffed in amusement. "Everyone makes mistakes right?" He purred. Suddenly, he dropped into a hunter's crouch and sprang forward where a fuzzy brown tail stuck out some shrubs. He pulled out a nice and plump rabbit and lay it on the ground, dead.

Stormeye just huffed at them, muttering something under his breath at himself. He picked up the scent of a bird, perhaps a dove and carefully stalked toward the white bird before leaping. He landed on it and killed it with a swift blow to it's neck.
