Shiningheart padded in with a mouse and two rabbits. she closed her eyes and mouthed a prayer then dropped it in the pile and walk to the others." hey!"

"Hi, Shiningheart!" Foxpaw mewed in greeting.

Longpaw bowed his head in greeting toward the new warrior. Shiningheart. "Hello, Shiningheart" he meowed.

"hey Foxpaw.Hi Longpaw!"she mewed.

"Morning." Iceclaw greeted them warmly, dropping another rabbit at Longpaw's paws. He sat down next to Ravenfeather. "And she's right. You'll be warriors soon enough. You just have to be patient." He purred softly, winking at Ravenfeather as he remembered how he always was trying to do his best, as if that would make him a warrior faster.

Ravenfeather smiled slightly, understanding. "Being a warrior requires a lot of patience and skill, which you won't have if you rush into things. A warrior has a lot of responsibility."

"So does a medicine cats." he meowed pointing out his rank, Longpaw let out a slight frown at Ravenfeather, then straightening up he then bent down to eat the rabbit, "Thank you Iceclaw" he meowed.

"Okay... sorry" Foxpaw mumbled

"I never said they didn't, Longpaw." Ravenfeather meowed, seeing the frown. "Do not think I believe that you do not have to go through hard times to become a medicine cat."

Longpaw let out a snort of disgust but didn't reply.

Shiningheart narrowed her eyes "don't treat an older warrior like that! you may be a medicine cat, but you still are an apprentice" she snorted

Stormeye came padding from the warrior den, feeling great, almost as if he had been asleep for two sunrises. His eyes lit up when he saw Ravenfeather and padded over to her, smiling. "Hey guys."

Shiningheart noticed Stormeye "hey!"

"Hello stormeye." Ravenfeather purred softly, forgetting the disrespectful apprentice momentarily.
