Silent's death topic

Silentherb padded past trees that loomed over her, her eyes fixed on the ground for herbs. She hadn't left the camp much anymore after getting the prohecy, but she figured that she had to get out of camp more. A sparrow called out somewhere around her, but she didn't even flich. Silentherb believed that the prohecy must have been wrong as nothing had happen in so long, so much that she stopped thinking it would really happen anytime soon. Oh how wrong she was.

A brown and black tabby she-cat stalked through through the reeds. Though all scent of clan life had washed away with the time, her body moved around perfectly, not making a sound; and it was clear that this place was once her home. Sharp ice, blue eyes bore into the shape of Silentherb, waiting for the right moment to strike.
'She's impure. A disgrace. The forest must be cleansed.'

Silentherb froze, flicking her ear, noticing that the sparrow had gone silent. She just sighed, and sniffed at the ground, before letting out a snort. There was no scent of herbs, only mud, reed, and was that...fish? In the middle of the territory? This caused Silentherb to be uneasy, but she figured it was from a hunting patrol.

The she-cat barred her teeth, flexing her claws into the ground. Oh, how StarClan would be pleased with her work! All that she had done outside before, and tonight, she'd rid the forest of a false messenger!
She kept on watching closely until instinct struck her. 'Now!' she thought and yowled. The rogue jumped out of the bushes and tackled Silentherb with unsheathed claws.

Silentherb let out a loud yowl as she was hit, falling to her side. "Wh-Get off of me!" she snarled, gazing up at the blue eyes. They looked just like her mother's, but the tabby...no...it couldn't be!

"S-Sparrowflight?"

She pinned down Silentherb to the ground as the medicine cat gazed up at her on her side. "Oh. You remember my name." she near sung in amusement, a smile on her face as she dug her talon-like claws deeper into her niece's pelt, drawing small trinkles of blood.

"W-What are doing!" she growled, trying to knock Sparrowflight off of her. Her yellow eyes flashing with fear. "Get off of me!"

"Shhhh..." She made the sound as if trying to sooth Silentherb, "This is for the greater good." Sparrowflight kept the medicine cat down with one firm fore-paw; With her other paw she extended one claw forward before the others.
"Now, should I slit your throat?" The she-cat cooed and ran the soft-side of her claw across Silentherb's neck, tracing down and across her belly. "Or should I slice open your stomach? Oh, decisions... decisions..." She grinned, obviously enjoying being able to play with her food before she killed it.

Silentherb let out a loud wail, trying to knock her aunt off of her. "If Badgerfang was here, she would send you strange to the Dark Forest!" she hissed, but her eyes was filled with fear, unable to understand why her aunt was doing this.

Sparrowflight easily shifted her weight around and kept her niece pinned down to the ground. "It's StarClan's wish. She answered simply, "And my dear sister may not agree, but in the end, she will see that all is well. And after you, I'll find Pantherclaw. And after him, I'll go to SkyClan and hunt down Creamstripe.
"I'll give my dear sons the blessing of being able to have their names given before they're sent to StarClan." She smiled, referring to Smokepaw and Sagepaw. "My life and your life... we're nothing but mistakes. Scourges to warrior blood. Our line must simply be -- eliminated." Sparrowflight's eyes shone with many different emotions, as if she believed with all her being that this was for the best. It wasn't anything personal.

Silentherb let out a growl, her eyes flashing with rage. She suddenly kicked out with her back legs, sending Sparrowflight tumbling off of her. She got up, feeling weak from the blood she had lost, but she moved slowly toward the reeds, letting out a snarl. "This is not StarClan's wish! Badgerfang was a good warrior before she died, and she hunts happily in StarClan!" She was almost to the reeds, almost to freedom.

Sparrowflight fell off of the medicine cat's body with a silent 'oof', but quickly scrambled back up, almost laughing when she saw the tabby struggling to get away. "StarClan would never approve of half-breeded monsters." she said near above a whisper, "And she should be thankful she is up there in paradise, that StarClan had forgiven her..." The brown and black tabby got down low, now beginning to stalk up to Silentherb. "Thankful to me. I was the one who sent her there."
The large she-cat then pounced, grabbing a hold of Silentherb and putting her neck in-between her jaws. She paused to catch her breathe and to let the medicine cat have any final thoughts.

Silentherb let out a small wail as Sparrowflight grabbed her neck in her jaw. "Y-you killed your own sister? StarClan didn't sent you! You belong in the Dark Forest you monster!" she wailed, hoping that someone would save her, but she knew it was to late. She knew that she was going to die.

The tabby simply purred. Oh, the moment Silentherb left this world, she was certain the medicine cat would understand. With the force of the rogue's jaw, it took one sickening crunch to the back of the silver tabby's neck that sent her to StarClan.
Sparrowflight kept her in her grasp until she was sure all signs of life had gone. The she-cat released her niece and stepped back, getting a sick and strange thrill by looking at what she had done. In fact, she beamed with happiness. 'Have a safe trip. StarClan guide you and have mercy on your soul.'

Silentherb fell to the ground, lifeless and still. Her spirit rose from her body, letting out a sad sigh. She understood everything, why Sparrowflight had killed her, who her family was. But it didn't make it right.

"She doesn't understand what she is doing," a voice said sadly to Silentherb, and the medicine cat turned to see her mother's starry form appear. "She is driven by madness, confusement. Unable to understand the fact that she isn't really RiverClan, and she is WindClan and ShadowClan."

"Will she still come to StarClan?" Silentherb said hopefully, wishing that Sparrowflight, even thought she just killed her, would be forgiven.

"No," Badgerfang said simply, before turning and glancing sadly at her daughter. "Come, your family wish you see you."

Together, mother and daughter, they padded away into the stars, leaving the cold, broken body of the RiverClan dear medicine cat behide.
