Butters last kitting

Stormpaw's face turned green as he watched and quickly pulled his head from the nursery. "I am so happy that I am not a she-cat," he muttered, sticking his tongue out in disgust.

"Good, good," Willowstream mewed. She gently moved the kit towards Butterflywing. "Clean her, quickly, there are more coming."

a tiny she cat fell in to the moss and opened her tiny pink mouth to let out a little squeal.

butterflywing quickly licked the kit so it could breath and a second jolt hit her just a little softer.

the kit moved to butterflywing and suckled

"Alright, ready?" Willowstream asked, though she wasn't really waiting for Butterflywing's approval. "Push."

butterflywing pushed again and a second kit slid out quickly thinking she moved and grabbed the kit and licked to get it breathing.

"Excellent," the medicine cat purred in reassurance. "One more, Butterflywing. Ready, and...push!"

butterflywing pushed a third time, letting a kit slide out along with another one she picked up one then the other and licked one of the kits to get it breathing.

Taking a deep breath, Willowstream moved back towards Butterflywing's head.
"Are you doing alright?" she asked the queen.

Stormpaw poked his head into the nursery, glancing around. "It's it safe to come into the nursery now?" he meowed, "Is the kitting over?"

butterflywing purred "yes I'm ok" she purred looking down at her kits "its fine stormpaw" she said looking up at the two in the nursery.

Finally, the medicine cat relaxed. She smiled, turning to leave the nursery.
"If you need anything, let me know," she told Butterflywing.

"ok thank you willowstream" she purred and laid her head down to relax

A large white tom with dark grey splotches on his back and ears rolled onto the moss. For a moment he didn't do anything, just lay there, cold. But ten he slowly began to suckle and mewl a little. His paws were strong against his mother.
