The Return

Silentkit nodded, and quickly got to work. Lifting up her mother's leg, she wrapped the rush around it. She soon started to grab the cobwebs and started to place them on where Singekit had already put the poultice on. "It's fine, sister."

Ebonyroot stepped back and nodded her approval before going next to Featherstar and Mothpaw. "She will be fine..." she muttered to the two of them.

Sparrowflight pulled herself away from Badgerfang before the two kits started working, whom she considered a lost cause, and up to Mothpaw and Moonfrost. She started to wash the blood off her sister with help from the rain.

Singekit finally finished, and Maypaw glowed with pride. "There. With luck, your mother will be fine, but she could probably never ever return to warrior duties." Maypaw meowed.

"Oh.. that's not good." Singekit whispered. "With any luck, she'll be fine. But she can probably never return to warrior duties." she repeated. Maypaw smiled, and then poofed.

Silentkit looked at her sister, and let out a small sigh. "Should we take her to the medicine cat den? I am sure Swanpaw can look after her when she returns from getting herbs."

"I don't know, I think we should let her stay here, but maybe.." Singekit ran to the nearest tree, and pulled off several sticks. Picking up some of the leaves on the ground and from the tree, she managed to thread together a small little shelter. "If Silentkit and I can stay out here, we can keep her warm, and dry."

Mothpaw sat around, the ran falling through her. She felt nothing, like an empty shell. Her sister watched the rise and fall of Badgerfang's chest sadly. No emotion showed on the dead she-cat's face. No tears wet her muzzle. No wail came from her throat. She felt absolutely nothing.

Featherstar crept up behind her kin, silver muzzle stained with tears. Although her face was a happy one.

"How can you cry right now, you look so happy." Mothpaw asked, monotone.

"I'm crying because you are my great-grandaughter, and you should be with my other great grandchildren. I can't imagine you not having your warrior name. And beside the fact that you no longer live. Any loss off life, whether it be to WindClan, or rather ShadowClan, is a tragedy. Especially as you were so young." Featherstar purred, wrapping her rather long and busy tail around the golden she-cat. Her dark silver stripes ruffled as she layed her head atop Mothpaw's.

"What's with all the commotion?" Hopeclaw said, waltzing in like nothing was happening.

Silentkit looked at Hopeclaw, her eyes wide. "Badgerfang was attacked by a fox...she's badly hurt, and Mothpaw is dead..."

"Mothpaw's dead?!" Hopeclaw gasped. "What all happened?"

Silentkit shook her head, letting out a small sigh. "I-I wish I knew! I don't even know what a fox looks like. I think that we should take Badgerfang to the medicine cat den, so Swanpaw can look her over once she gets back."

"Well, I still think we should go with this," Singekit retorted. "It's creative, and then we won't possibly hurt her more on the way."

Silentkit looked over at her sister, "But do we know how well it will hold up? This rain might get worse!"

ooc:: It's raining, btw. xD And probably will start snowing soon.

"We'll have to keep her here for now, or at least move her to the nursery, which is warmer and closer."

Silentkit shook her head. "I think we should take her to the medicine cat den. That way if anything happens, Swanpaw will be right there to help her." As Silentkit, she felt snow land on her muzzel. "Uh-oh, it's snowing now."
