Rainpaw and Hopepaw's Assessment

Sadly, she missed again. She was getting quite frustrated with the chance dice, so she threw it into the water.

Rainpaw decided she'd keep fishing for awhile then go inland. Rainpaw felt like sparrowflight's thoughts hit her like a bullet, except they didnt even go into her mind. She just did it.
Rainpaw saw a nice medium sized fish... She waited a moment, then swiped and clawed into it.
It almost got away, but she stopped it. Not my best catch ever, but at least i got it!

IC:Rainpaw saw a few other fish swim by. It was a kind of small fish that she decided on. She got ready to swipe, and as she did, she thought she heard a bush. No matter, time to fish. Rainpaw swiped, focusing as hard as she could. She forgot to finish it off when she heard another rustle in the bush. It flipped back in. Just one more fish, then i'll go inland. she decided

Rainpaw tried again. She went with the next fish that came by. She tried hard, focusing and remembering to finish it off, and she hoped she would get it. She then pulled something out of the water. Took her a moment to realize it was definetly a big fish. She got it!

Rainpaw then moved inland, no more fishing for her. She then saw a squirrel. It was really fat-looking, and would feed her clan well. She dropped into a crouch and leapt for the squirrel. She sunk her claws into it. She had got it!

Sparrowflight then decided to track down Hopepaw, finding that her apprentice was looking rather beat down, and frustrated. 'I'm not the best hunter either, so I know how hard it is to let the catch get away... but don't give up...' she thought, blinking. Stupid dice.
The she-cat kept on watching, then saw Hopepaw catch the first fish of the day. 'Oh, well done!'

IC: "That's only one though... I don't think I'm good enough to be a warrior."
