End up seeing Bramblepaw

Bramble walked back to the river. It had gotten dark. "You are still here." She laughed

Flamepaw smiled an acward smile. "I guess I am."

Bramblepaw smiled. "Your gonna get sick if you stay in that river any longer."

Flamepaw smiled. He into the river towards her. "You don't mind if I go on your territory do you?"

"Not really. Think of it as your returning the favor." Bramblepaw said

Flamepaw smiled. "I'm sorry for being so mean." He said. "Will you forgive me?" Flamepaw sat down next to Bramblepaw.

She looked out on the river. "I dunno Flame. You really hurt me. Why should I forgive you?"

"Because I'm talking to you and not being mean." He said smiling.

"Well anytime you could just go right back to being mean." she told him

"But I won't if you forgive me." He said.

"How can I believe that?" Bramblepaw asked

Flamepaw shrugged. "It's up to you."

"I'm sorry Flame but no." Bramblepaw whispered. She got up and walked away but not with out turning to tell him, "You should go home now Flame."

Flamepaw's head dropped and a tear ran down it. "I see." He walked back to his border. "I'm not going back to the camp."

"Flame just go home and sleep please." Bramblepaw said feeling bad.
