End up seeing Bramblepaw

Bramblepaw stayed in the bushes still crying. She wished she could take it back but she knew she couldn't.

Flamepaw kept whacking at himself. "Why can't I get rid of it? It's clear she doesn't feel the same."

Bramblepaw finally stopped crying and listened to the last thing Flame had said. "I wish he knew. But I can't have these fellings. It's forbidden." she whispered to herself.

Flamepaw kept grunting and other stuff.

Bramblepaw walked back out to the clearing but Flame had not seen her. She went up a tree and climbed out on a branch that went over the river. She wanted to hear more.

Flamepaw looked at the sky. "Why did you make her a medicine cat? Why did you make me fall inlove with her? Why? Why? Why?" He said.

Bramblepaw's heart skipped a beat.

Flamepaw rolled over and over again. "All I can think about is her, her, her and her."

Bramblepaw jumped down from the tree. She landed beside Flamepaw.

Flamepaw looked at her. Tears running down his eyes. "What did you hear?"

"Mostly everything." she said to him smiling.

Flamepaw didn't smile. He started to cry more. He backed away.

She looked at Flame a moment. She turned around and started to walk to the river.

Flamepaw stammered out before he could think. "Do you like me that way?"

She looked back and smiled again. "Yes." she said. She jumped in the river and swam across with some difficutly but not much. She got back to the shore and started to lick herself dry.
