Swankit's cermony

Brightstorm had never left RiverClan camp. She had stayed the night in the medicine cat den to not have to cross the dreadful river again. She got up and padded towards the Kits' Den for her soon-to-be apprentice "Swankit, wake up comeon",she called out softly.

Swankit, being cranky as she normally was, the kit swatted at Brightstorm. She was completely oblivious that this was the time she would turn to an apprentence. With a short purr the kit jumped up, drousy and wobbly as well. "Huh- wha-?" The kit squeaked.

Brightstorm purred,"It's time for you to meet StarClan sweetie",she meowed,rembering the feeling she had when it was her time.

"Uh... Okay." The kit stirred mindlessly, however still not completely awake.

The medicine cat looked up at the hole in the cave as the moon inched closer. She sat down next to the stone, motioning for her to do the same.

"Young Swankit, is it your wish to enter into the mysteries of StarClan as RiverClan's Medicine Cat?"

"I do." The kit mewed staring up at the cat. Hope filled her eyes as she felt she was staring her future in the face.

She smiled and purred as the light hit the rock, "Warriors of StarClan, I present you with this kit. She has now been graced with the path of a Medicine Cat. Grant her your wisdom and insight so that she may understand your ways and serve her clan in accordance to your will." The words held a strong truth to them, a ringing prayer. "You shall now be called Swanpaw. Touch your nose to the moonstone for your first dream as a medicine cat apprentice".
