Any Questions?

Maple sat watching SkyClan life go by. There was lots she needed to find out, and many of the cats trusted her, but hadn't had the chance to talk to much with her. She would sit all day and watch the cats go about their business.

Snakebite looked at the she-cat suspiciously as he put prey in the fresh kill pile. He couldn't help but notice her watching them all. He grabbed a mouse and a cardinal and padded over to her. "Maple right? Here want one?" he asked pushing the mouse towards her. He sat on his haunches and started to pick at his bird, trying to hide the dried blood covering his left eye.

"Why, thank you." Maple said. "And yes, that's right." She added, leaning over to eat the mouse.

The tom cocked his head,"Why are you here anyways". He nibbled at the cardinal's wing and looked at her for an answer.

Manypaw padded forward."Hi-" he broke off."What happened!"

Maple looked at the cat. "I am here to save your Clan. My siblings are here to save the other Clans. But we came early so we may save you ahead of time." Maple said. She heard another voice and turned. "What do you mean?" She asked calmly.

"His face!" Manypaw wailed.

"Envypaw I assume?" Stonestar walked away from the freshkill pile is a sparrow

Manypaw snarled."I'll show that no good-" he began.

Snakebite just growled,"get over it". He turned back to Maple and asked, "So Brightstorm must have known then right"?

"Snakebite" Stonestar scolded the warrior "He was simply concerned for you" He sat down and started to eat his bird "Would they need to when they had Deathberry tell everyone at the gathering?"

Manypaw flattened his ears. For the first time since the trial,Manypaw now stood next to his father.

Snakebite just sighed and looked at the bird below him. He pushed it towards the fresh-kill pile. Nobody should miss a few bites right?

Maple watched this. "Deathberry was the only visited cat." She said, ignoring the toms face, out of respect.

"I don't trust Deathberry." Sootshadow hissed coming out of the nursery.
