Hail joins

Willowkit had been sleeping when Hailkit ran into the nursery. Upon hearing his squeak, she poked her head up and looked at the new kit who seemed bigger than she was. Being only a few days old, she stood up and clumsily padded over to the newcomer with big, round, curious eyes. "H-Hi," She stuttered. "Who are you?"

Hailkit looked at the small she-cat. "Oh, my name is Hailkit." The gray tabby meowed, letting out a small purr. "You must be Willowkit. Stonestar told me about you."

She blinked at Hailkit before tilting her head to the side. "Stonestar? I've heard of him before! He's the... the... the leader right?!" She squeaked in a sudden burst of energy, trying to get her tiny young brain ticking.

Hailkit just nodded, and looked around the nusery. "So, this is where I sleep? I guess I can get used to this." he meowed.

"Yeah. It's really comfortable when you get used to it," She mewed. "My mommy Sootshadow will probably take care of you like she take cares of me." Suddenly her ears perked up and her whole expression changed into excitement. "You could be my brother!"

Hailkit thought for a moment and nodded. "I guess I could be your brother." He purred. "I never had a sibling."

She flicked her ears in ever-so-slight confusion. "Really? Well, me either. So this will be an adventure for both of us!" She squeaked excitedly.

"Yea, I guess it will be!" Hailkit squeaked, purring happly. "So, is there anything you want to do?"

Envypaw grinned, picking his head out of the freah-kill pile "I could give you some, early training." he chuckled.

Willowkit turned to face Envypaw. "You could? That would be so cool!" She mewed, jumping around happily.

Envypaw grinned and rose from the pile. He padded past the kits and flicked his tail for them to come, ignoreing Stonestar if he said anything. He padded to a large tree right outside of camp and stoped, waiting for the kits.

Sootshadow stepped in front of the kits, "You are to young for training. If you want to play around camp thats fine but don't get into trouble." She mewed looking down on Willowkit.

Stonestar walked by going to talk to the apprentice but stopped to say something "It is best you spent you time away from Envypaw. He is the trouble of the clan... Perhaps time with Snakebite or Brightstorm will keep your paws full" He walked out of camp and looked at Envypaw "Go hunting now. I want to see a plump bird in your jaws when you return"

Envypaw shrugged "Then ill catch four." And with that he was gone.

Willokit shrank back from Sootshadow's stare before turning to Stonestar. "Oh! Do I get to help out Brightstorm? Because all of those cool leaf-things look awesome!" She squeaked, trying to lighten the mood.
