Vixen ceased mid-chew. She swallowed hard, using this to give herself a moment. She got to her feet and stretched once again, though this time it was more of a filler action than anything else.
The she-cat looked over at Deadstar, and noticed he was slightly tense.
"Why's she in exile?" Vixie asked as sweetly as she could.

"Oh, I know!" the tom mewed."She was being a killer, right?"

"ManyPaw, did she ask you?" She snapped. She always had cared for her brother, but she was hard on him to make sure he was always respectful, she had to because she was the oldest of the 4.

Deadstar picked a sparrow out of the fresh-kill pile. "It doesn't concern you," he replied to Vixen, biting into the hardy flesh.

Widening her eyes in amusement, Vixen moved to crouch beside Deadstar.
"Was she really that bad?" the she-cat asked innocently.

The silver tom's tail-tip twitched with annoyance. "Yes, she was.."

"What do you mean?" Vixen pressed, hoping Deadstar would see the sincerity in her eyes.
I need him to trust me...

"If he doesn't want to tell you, he deosn't need to tell you."
Silversoul hissed through clenched teeth. This she-cat was getting on her nerves, and she didn't like it.

Vixen flattened her ears and growled softly in her throat.
"I just felt like I was a part of this clan," she muttered darkly, narrowing her mint-green eyes. The tabby she-cat turned back to her meal.

Deadstar slit his eyes, cynicism bubbling up inside of him as he took another bite.
She keeps trying to meddle with my business..

Deciding to lighten the mood, Vixen hurriedly finished her portion and sat, licking her jaws.
"Are there any kits?" she asked simply.

IC: Deadstar scraped a bone out of his teeth and observed Vixen. "A couple."

"How old are they?" Vixen asked, tilting her head a little to the side.

The silver she-cat listened carefully. Thoughts floated through her head as she paid attention.

Deadstar was beginning to get gratified. "Vixen," he blurted, "why do you ask do many pointless questions?"
