I shed my skin so you could see me.
But what you saw was a personfication of my imagination.
Something I created.
Like an actress playing a part.
I willed it to be a part of me.
I pushed my limit past repair.
So sorry, I'm so fake.
But if this isn't me then what is?
I don't even know anymore.
I need a map to take me back to the beginning.
And you possessed my hope.
But you tore me to shreads.
I can no longer sleep.
For fear of recognition that haunts me.
Who will I see, myself, or me?
A shadow of you touching a shadow of what I used to be, what I want to be?
Perhaps I've slipt into an alternative universe.
I can no longer sing.
For you have stolen my voice, like once upon a trajeic mermaids tale.
I have given it away
In hope that you could recognize me without it.
But you are of sound and mind and only obsorb what you hear and what you see.
You are blind to what you have felt before, and now you've let it, you've let me, go.
And in the end.
I no longer live.
For your love has reduced me to foam.
