Another Missing Cat (This is sorta a continuation of Leo's disappearance. D:)

"Goldenstar!" called Deadfrost, and padded up to the lichen overhang. He plopped a mouse down in front of the hanging plants. "Goldenstar? Are you in there?"
Deadfrost poked his nose into the den. No scent..?
So he slid right on in, surprised to not see the golden she-cat lying there, like normal. He bent over and sniffed the moss that was her bed.
The scent was stale and fading. Days old.
Deadfrost backed away from the nest, eyes stretched wide with horror. "Oh no. Not again. Not Goldenstar."

The warrior dashed off and began to search desperately. Still no scent; not anywhere!

Finally, he collapsed into a heap, eyes still wide. I can't scent her anywhere.
His body began to tremble, when he realized that Goldenstar wasn't just out hunting, or even at Highstones.
Disappeared.
She was gone.

"What is it, Deadfrost?"
Questioned Silversoul as she strecthed her legs.
"You seem... distraught."

He raised his head and looked glumly at his daughter, then sat up. "Goldenstar is missing."
It was all he could force out.
