Evilkit lay in the hot sun, her black pelt keeping her warm. She had both eyes closed, remembering when she sneaked out of camp with Shrikekit. She smiled as she remembered snapping the snake's neck, killing it. That was so much fun! she thought happily to herself. She remembered every last detail, even the wisper of her grandmother that echoed through her ears.
