A stroll by the river

Moonpaw started to swiftly swim across the river towards Snowclaw. She batted the fox with a wet paw, drawing it's attention to her.

The fox had bit Snowclaws leg and she yowled in pain.The shock of the bite sent her jumping into the river,where she drowned almost instantly under the dark,cold currents of the river.

Moonpaw watched in shock as Snowclaw fell in. Then she slowly turned her atention back to the fox, clawing it's face angrily.

Raccoontail watched the whole thing unfold from Starclan. She padded down from the sky and down to her friends spirit. "You must come with me my friend." She mewed to Snowclaw

Snowclaw looked down at the raging river.Wait,she could see the river."Greetings Raccontail" she mewed.She could hear better as well,and her legs didn't feel in pain."Lets go!" she purred,excited like a kit.

Raccoontail smiled. "Come on, some other cats can't wait to see you." She mewed then padded back up to the sky.

Snowclaw padded up and joined the Starry ranks of Starclan.

Nightpaw had been walking by and he saw the entire thing. He ran up to the fox, jumped on its back and bit it on the neck killing it instantly, tears of anger rolling down Nightpaw's face. He then ran to the bank of the river and sat down "I was to late, I couldn't save her, I just sat there and watched." Sobbed Nightpaw.

Moonpaw walked up to him and sat down awkwardly. " It was her time." She murmured.

"Shut up!" Nightpaw yowelled before running away.

" Just trying to help." Moonpaw mumbled. She sighed and swam across the river towards RiverClan territory.
