Shadowsong padded over to the apprentice's den. "Scarletpaw! It's time for your assessment!"

(Scarletpaw got up and approached her mentor) yayz!

Shadowsong smiled down at her own kit who was so close to becoming a warrior! "Are you ready?" But before she let Scarletpaw answer, she dashed off towards the entrance of the camp.

(Scarletpaw knew she had to follow, so she tried to follow her)"hey?wait up!"

She finally slowed down to a stop when they reached the middle of the territory. She turned back to Scarletpaw. "Okay. Today is your assessment. You will hunt until sunset to see how much prey you can catch. I will be watching you as you do what you need to today, but you won't ever see me. So are you ready?"

yes i am! (Scarletpaw looks around and sees a small mouse,she pounces, but it slightly slipped)

Shadowsong sat down and watched Scarletpaw intently as she padded off to hunt. As she saw her apprentice try to catch the first piece of prey, she nodded approvingly.
